It seems that the singer has a prohibition on swimming as of late due to the concerns she is causing in regards to drowning. A source said the following about Amy Winehouse’s swimming issue: “She is regularly drinking large quantities of wine and rum and no one in her condition should be going anywhere near water. There are concerns that one night she won’t be able to get out of the water and something tragic will happen.” That is true… but then again, maybe a good scare wouldn’t hurt Amy Winehouse, maybe it would help her get her head out of the bottle and back into reality… if that is at all possible.
The singer turned actress who also recently turned twenty-three years old… today, actually, apparently spent the whole day before her birthday shopping and cruising the malls. However, whether coincidentally or not, at the end of the day she supposedly ended up at Samantha Ronson’s home. All in vain though, as nothing really happened… or nothing was reported to have happened. So Lindsay Lohan was apparently in for a really lonely birthday. However, it still looks like she’s having a few unspoken feelings in regards to Samantha Ronson… but hey, after breaking off an engagement so suddenly, who can blame her. Well, there probably are a number of people, but that need not be mentioned.
Randy Philips, the CEO of AEG Live is stomping around Michael Jackson’s doctors and demanding answers as to why the singer was cleared medically for the concerts if they knew he had problems. Randy Philips said the following about the medical exams Michael Jackson underwent before his death: “Maybe they didn’t do a good enough job. We want answers. We have poured millions of cash into Michael’s comeback. All the tests pointed to him being in fine physical shape. It’s a complete mystery. The insurance company had an independent physician fly out from New York and give him a five-hour exam. We were told he passed with flying colours. Now I would like to see the results. If he was taking that amount of prescription drugs, wouldn’t that have been picked up in a blood test?” I wonder if the guys from AEG were thinking of stuff like this when they booked Michael Jackson for fifty concerts instead of ten. I can just see Randy Philips in a satiric cartoon with the singer’s heart in his hand going toward his doctors: “You told me it would hold, god damn you!”
The late pop legend’s family is absolutely appalled with the singer’s father due to the fact that the man seems to have taken the opportunity to promote his record label, Ranch Records, at the BET Awards Tribute to Michael Jackson. It seems that Joe Jackson said the following when a CNN presenter asked Katherine Jackson how she and the rest of the family were coping with Michael Jackson’s death: “They are all doing fine. But I wanted to make this statement. This is a real good statement here! Marshall and me own a record label called Ranch Records.” Well, a good business man always knows a good opportunity when he sees one… and does not hesitate to take advantage of it.
It seems that the singer has recently been diagnosed with malnutrition… which explains her appearance as of late. Speaking about her diagnosis, Courtney Love said: “The doctor gave me a massive shot of vitamins and told me to start eating. Seriously, I want to get fatter. You know, when I was 192lbs I thought I looked hot. I’m serious about putting on weight - I want to get curvy. I know I’ve got too skinny. I want to sort it out.” Hopefully that Kurt Cobain “inheritance” will come in soon because it seems that Courtney Love really needs it right now. Even though a bit of starvation might be a mark of punk, she should keep it on the level.
The singer turned actress has apparently been negotiating with Ryan Seacrest regarding staring in a new reality show. The show hasn’t got a name yet, but it’s going to be about Lindsay Lohan running around and giving disadvantaged people one million dollars to change their lives. Ryan Seacrest wrote the following on twitter about the new project: “Met with Lindsay last night about a show idea I have for her. It helps people and gives others a second shot! Still putting it all together.” Lindsay Lohan also has something to say about it on twitter: “Working on a really great project for television — I am excited! Something meaningful like Extreme Home Makeover on ABC. :)” Right… who better to offer hope to the hopeless than Lindsay Lohan, right? Especially with the recent end of her would-be marriage, this would be the perfect thing to get her going again.
Green Day has just premiered the video for their new single, “21 Guns,” exclusively on MySpace Music. The video was helmed by noted director Marc Webb, who has lensed clips for such artists as My Chemical Romance, Weezer, and All-American Rejects, and is making his feature film directorial debut in July with (500) Days of Summer.
“21 Guns” is the second single from the band’s latest album 21st Century Breakdown, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, as well as on the Rock, Active Rock, and Alternative charts, fueled by the Alternative radio No. 1 single “Know Your Enemy.” 21st Century Breakdown, which Rolling Stone has called “a rock opera in which the rock always comes first,” also topped the charts in 24 countries including the UK, Canada, and Japan.
Over the past month, Green Day has continued to work with MySpace Music for the promotion of 21st Century Breakdown. During the week of the album’s release, they played an exclusive concert in New York City which was filmed for the site’s premiere online concert program, The List. The performance can now be seen on The List’s official MySpace profile.

Black Eyed Peas’ “The E.N.D.” bows at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 304,000 — the hip-pop act’s best sales week ever. It’s also the first No. 1 album for the group, which had previously gone as high as No. 2. Its last set, 2005’s “Monkey Business,” bowed in the runner-up slot with a then-best 291,000. It had the unfortunate luck to come out the same week as Coldplay’s “X&Y,” which kept the Peas’ at bay when it started at No. 1 with 737,000. -via Billboard.com

Female racing driver Danica Patrick has been showing off her curves in a new Got Milk? advert.
The 27-year-old IndyCar driver is the latest celebrity to sign up for the campaign that encourages people to drink more milk.
“Refuel. How do I stay on track?” Patrick says in the ad.
“Milk, it’s a great choice after exercise, with protein to help build muscle and a unique mix of nutrients to refuel.
“So train hard and drink low-fat or fat-free milk. Talk about a strong finish.”
