American Idol alum Clay Aiken has a new PSA out, speaking on behalf of UNICEF. The 31-year old singer and UNICEF ambassador said “Right now, more than four million children are caught in the aftermath of the worst flood in Pakistan’s history. They need clean water, medicine and shelter to survive.” If you want to help the organization’s cause, you can go to Unicef.org to learn how to do so. UNICEF is funded entirely through donation and every little bit you give can go a long way in saving another person’s life. If celebrities can take their time out to give back, so can you.

Jordin Sparks Tour Disappoints

Sources are reporting that unlike American Idol winners of the past, Jordin Sparks failed to have a successful tour this summer. Despite playing 39 concerts across the country, the majority of the venues were half full and many were well below 50% capacity. In fact, when the singer played a show in Portland, she only played to an alarming 10% capacity at the Crystal Ballroom. I guess you could say that she was just way too ambitious with that tour. For Jordin’s sake, let’s hope her run in ‘In the Heights’ goes better. It’s doubtful, but there’s no harm in wishing her luck.
