I was reading up on Pete and Ashlee news wondering how the newlywed expectant parents to be are doing and smiled when I came across an article he did with PEOPLE. He seems content and excited about their baby’s arrival in a few months. The proud father to be has been reading books, watching movies, talking with his dad getting fatherly advice, and most importantly, being supportive and doting towards his wife Ashlee.
Here are some of the highlights of the interview he did with PEOPLE at his Angels & King nightspot in Chicago with Ashlee.
– “I’m reading a lot of books. The biggest one is The Expectant Father. It’s a really good one.”
– “The best advice my dad has given me was, go with your gut. And he said you can’t really have expectations. If I have expectations that he’s going to be a rock star, I’m sure he’ll come out being into sports, and if I have expectations that he’ll be into sports then he’ll be into math or something.”
– “I’m just going into taking it one step at a time, and I’m just excited to meet the baby.”
– “We’ll baby-proof the house,” he says, “getting the nursery ready.” Regarding its theme, “It’s not a secret, but it’s more of a private thing. I haven’t really figured it out yet, so I don’t want to go out there and say what it is and then have it not be that.”
–”Contrary to the stories out there, we don’t know the sex of the baby,” he says. “I’m a person that always likes to be surprised, so I like to wait for the surprise.”
– “Ashlee’s a trouper. She’s been really good with this. She’s probably one of the most health conscious, spiritually free pregnant women I’ve even been around.”
So sweet. It made me smile!
Here is Pete Wentz wedding band, pretty cheap eh? Of all the guys I thought Pete would want something a little more ’special’ than just a plain band. Even if it’s platinum she still cheaped out. A 6mm platinum men’s wedding band from Tiffany’s is 1700 Canadian dollars!. Where is the bling?
As long as he is proud of it…right?
Here is Ashlee and Pete totally posing for the camera. They just look so utterly in love… How could anybody really be that happy!? Why won’t my boyfriend nudge me on the head like that or even give me a little cute smirk of love.. They have to be faking it somewhat!
Check out the rock on that girls finger, Pete probably paid a pretty penny for it.
I wonder how much it is worth? Anyone have any clues? I personally don’t really like that style of ring, although if someone gave it to me I surely wouldn’t complain! 
I’m not sure if she had her lips done, maybe they are just a wee bit swollen from all the kissing she’s been doing with her boy Pete. Seriously though, they do look puffier, and those red sunglasses are so not flattering. Her hair is so greasy, I can’t believe she went out like this. I would be embarrassed if I was Pete. She was looking so hot awhile back with her blonde hair and new nose. I wish Ashlee would stop morphing into different people.. She had it right before.
What is up with all these terrible covers lately. First Britney’s cover, then Janet’s, and now Ashlee’s!
How is this cover bitter sweet? The hoodie? The weird colors? The font looks like something from a cheap movie. I bet Jessica was in on this terrible cover! She would have been better off with her new look with a black hoodie and a black background. This cover is just bitter, not at all sweet! I bet Pete just cringed and told her it looked pretty!
LOL, I am not sure if you saw the spoof with Sarah Silverman and Matt Damon but Jimmy Kimmel has fired back about his new love affair with Ben Affleck. I have to say this has quite the star line up..

Pete Wentz looks completely stoned in this picture, and is definitely looking rough. If you wonder why they are dressed in such attire it is because Ashlee Simpson had an 80’s themed Birthday party a few weeks back. Every time I look at Ash I keep thinking of how amazing she looks now. I never thought I would really condone plastic surgery but it was definitely for the greater good when Ashlee got her nose done. I just can’t get over how different she looks, she went from looking like an ugly punk rocker chic to a hot glamor girl. On a side note, I love how she had photographers at her party, along with a blue professional looking background.
I am note sure why Pete Wentz is wearing skinny jeans, but he is. They are now out of fashion so he better get it together and start wearing the wide leg! He could be so hot if he dressed more like a guy rather than a girl.
Oh and if he bathed more often!
