Despite reports from the U.K., stating otherwise, Michael Jackson is in good health. Ian Halperin, a respected writer, has written that Michael has the condition known as A1AD — alpha-1 anti-trypsin deficiency. He said:

“He needs a lung transplant, but may be too weak to go through with it. He also has emphysema and chronic gastrointestinal bleeding, which his doctors have had a lot of trouble stopping.

“It’s the bleeding that’s the most problematic part. It could kill him. He can barely speak. The vision in his left eye is 95 per cent gone. For years Michael has been working with his doctors to make sure it doesn’t progress. He has been on many medications that have stabilized him.”

Not true, according to Dr. Tohme, Michael’s rep:

Dr. Tohme says,

“Concerning this author’s allegations, we would hope in the future that legitimate media will not continue to be exploited by such an obvious attempt to promote this unauthorized ‘biography.’ The writer’s wild allegations concerning Mr. Jackson’s health are a total fabrication. Mr. Jackson is in fine health, and finalizing negotiations with a major entertainment company & television network for both a world tour and a series of specials and appearances.”

If he is in such good health, then why is he always sick when it comes time for him to go to court, or perform?

The land title to Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch was transferred a couple of days ago to a firm called Sycamore Valley Ranch Company LLC.

TMZ is reporting that Sycamore is a partnership of sorts between Michael Jackson and a division of a company called Colony Capital. Colony Capital owns the Las Vegas Hilton, the Red Rock Country Club, and other Las Vegas holdings.

TMZ had published a few news reports earlier this year where they claimed Colony Capital had helped out Michael by buying his $23.5 million Neverland mortgage.

Thomas Barrack Jr. is a Vegas big wig, and the word out in Vegas is that Michael may possibly perform at the Hilton and live in the Red Rock Country Club. TMZ also reported this also.

Apparently the ranch is being renamed and will be called the Sycamore Valley Ranch.

Michael Jackson
Here is an update on what is happening with the supposed deal he worked out to save his ranch.
The reports that were out about him getting financing to save his ranch from auction were a wee bit premature. Actually, according to Fox’s Roger Friedman, Michael was only able to work out a two month extension on the auction with Fortress Investments -which means it has been re- scheduled to take place May 14.

Yet again, I ask, why isn’t his family loaning him the money? I bet they figure Michael doensn’t need that that big of a ranch. He should be happy living in a normal sized mansion!

Michael Jackson has done his first interview in 10 years and is currently on the cover of the latest issue of Ebony magazine. Creative director, Harriette Cole, had this to say:

“From the time that I spent with him, what I got is that he’s a man,” Cole said on the Today show Wednesday morning. “He’s 49. He’s a grown-up. If you learn from your challenges, then you become stronger. He certainly seemed like that. His voice is a bit lower. He came across really as kind of normal.”

She went on to say, “A few days ago when we were with him, he was with his youngest son. They call him ‘Blanket’ — he’s 5 years old. He is a regular 5-year-old boy. The interesting thing to me was, Michael was parenting him. Very quietly, with very few words, he was able to communicate with his son what was appropriate to do and what not. I observed Michael being a great parent.”

The magazine is on stands November 12/007.
