Guitar maestro Carlos Santana who is currently on tour gave an interview with Rolling Stone where he talked about his faith, his painful divorce from his wife Deborah (34 years married), and his dream of one day becoming a minister and opening up a church in Hawaii.
Santana was quoted saying:
“I’m going to stop playing when I’m 67 and work on what I really want to do, which is to be a minister, like Little Richard.
“I’m not sick of what I do, but I find that God gave me the gift of communication even without my guitar and with the ability to get people unstuck with certain sections of the Bible having to do with guilt, shame, judgment and fear.”
Santana kicked off his “Live Your Light” tour on September 6th in Auburn, Washington. The 23-date tour ends on October 12 in Concord, California.
He also has a two-disc album “Multi-Dimensional Warrior,” coming out on October 14th. It’s a compilation of Santana songs from his 40-year career.
Adnan Ghalib, Britney’s former boyfriend is vehemently denying the existence of a sex tape, and has hired an attorney, or barrister as they say in England to go after the tabloids that are printing quotes supposedly said by him that he has one and it’s up for sale.
Since they both deny a tape exists, she wouldn’t be wasting her time trying to buy it and her lawyers wouldn’t be trying to stop it from making it public… other rumours that are being printed by some of the tabloids.
We all know that Adnan did sell pictures of Brit before and after they hooked up. Some would say that Brit is an exhibitionist (check out the recent pictures of her falling out of her dress at a school the other day despite her being supposedly “better”). We know about her drug use (see the judge’s opinion).
So… Adnan possibly making a sex tape during their trip to Mexico (where they got married despite the fact Brit was already then married to KFed at the time) seems far fetched to some people.

I was wondering what the reaction of some of his fans would be and just as I suspected, many are devastated. I wish I knew how old the posters of these entries were, but it’s painfully obvious that they are in a state of shock and disbelief!

After repeatedly dodging questions about his sexuality and despite the rumours, former “American Idol” singer Clay Aiken has now admitted he is a gay man in an interview with People magazine which will be online Wednesday.
He had insisted previously that his sexuality was nobody’s business but his own and in 2006 when ABC’s television’s Diane Sawyer asked him flat out, he told her off saying it was a “really rude” question! He also shrugged the same question off in a previous interview with People magazine saying that people “are going to believe what they want.”
The caption on the latest PEOPLE cover reads “Yes, I’m Gay,” and underneath is a quote from Aiken on his decision to come out of the closet that says: “I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things.”
In August this year, Clay’s friend, music producer Jaymes Foster, (sister of record producer David Foster) gave birth to the baby fathered by him.
I wonder how his fanatical fans the Claymates will react to this revelation?!

Fergie has two converted bedrooms (closets) filled with her collection of clothes — one for her casual and a second for fancy. She told the magazine:
“I don’t like to throw anything away.”
A couple of notable mentions in the double issue that hits stands Friday include best dressed television show — “Gossip Girl” — and most memorable style moments - Lindsay Lohan’s mink coat fiasco… which was when she left a party wearing some other chica’s $11,000 heirloom coat.
Us and People magazines are reporting that Usher and his wife Tameka are expecting their second child. Their son Usher Raymond V was born November 2007 and is nicknamed Cinco. This will be Tameka’s 5th pregnancy.
The proud daddy to be has had a very busy schedule lately. He spent the summer working with his charity the New Look foundation, as well as a summer camp he ran for teenagers. In August, he told PEOPLE that being a father has made him want to help other kids:
“Having a child just completed the story,” he said. “I already had a giving heart, and I wanted to do something to mentor children.”
Now that his mama is back as his manager, she has him going on a 15 city sweep tour for a Ladies Only series of concerts. Wonder what his pregnant wife thinks about this and if she and the baby and other siblings will be going on tour as one big happy family?
Usher sat down for an interview with Jive Magazine for their July issue. He talked about dissolving his working relationship with his mother who used to be his manager:
“I love my mother — she’s the only one I have,” he said, pausing for a moment before continuing. “I decided to not fire, not get rid of, but to give [my mother] the ultimate compliment — to retire her to be a full-time grandmother. My mother and I decided to change her situation, together. There was a conversation. I didn’t write her a letter or pink-slip her.”
He also talked about the difficult time he went through with his mom regarding his relationship with Tameka leading up to their off then on again wedding:
“I hurt more than anything over these last two years when I felt my mother didn’t really embrace my situation,” he told Vibe. “That really hurt me.”
“My mother is an aggressive person,” he said. “She makes hard decisions, and she caused me to make a hard decision as well.”
“Am I so much of a bad guy because I decided to get married? Am I so much of a bad guy [because once I got in the situation], I decided to stand for something, build a foundation, and think about my future?” he asked. “As a man, you would respect me for not turning my back on it. … It can never be bad to have a foundation as a man — a black man — in a time when women are dying for men. Women have started to become lovers of each other as a result of not having enough men. Are you not studying the stories? Wake up! Black love is a good thing.”
He also said he appreciates his wife and the values she brings to his life. “[Tameka] will tell me. If something doesn’t look right or she feels like it could look better, she’ll say something.
“The swagger I possess now definitely comes from my wife,” he said. “And my son completes me. He changes my perspective on what life is, and what matters.”
Usher also talked about married life in “Best Thing,” a song he duoed with Jay-Z also a newlywed on his new album, Here I Stand, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard albums chart earlier this month.
Lindsay has been working on the set of her new movie Labor Pains for just a week, but she has earned praise by the film’s producer for professionalism. Lati Grobman told People:
“We were a little bit reluctant to work with her, but she’s been amazing.”
She went on to say:
“She’s so natural at what she does. I’ve never seen one take where she’s off. The difference between her and the other girls that are naughty in the business is that she’s actually talented. It’s not [like] Paris Hilton and the rest of them. We took the chance. It’s good that we did. So far, so good.”
It sounds as if she is getting her acting career back on track! She needs to, the girl has bills to pay!
Janet Jackson posed for Blackbook Magazine and might I say that this picture terrifies me. I am not quite sure what Janet is trying to prove but I don’t like it. The cover page where she is the cage is so much better than this random head contraption. The caged shot Janet actually looks quite sexy, but this other picture makes me think of her as some kind of vicious animal.
 
Nicole Scherzinger recently did an interview with Blender Magazine where she told the reporter that she hadn’t had a bite to eat in two whole days. She was holding a translucent jug filled with a yellow mixture of water, honey, lemon, maple syrup and cayenne which was supposedly her sole nourishment . The Pussycat Dolls’ lead singer who is part Russian-Hawaiian, part Filipino passionately exclaimed passionately that drinking only the mixture “will help me find my center, even as it “makes me look better in swimsuits.†She was preparing for her latest video shoot for “Baby Love,†the second single from her debut solo album, Her Name Is Nicole.
