The lovebugs landed in Copenhagen so that Paris could do some promo work for the handbag line she has lended her name to. These two seem to dress in matching travel outfits. Dark shades, bling, designer bags, looking good. Paris is a going concern. The girl works it. She’s all over the globe, making appearances here there and everywhere. Last week she launched the new line of her footwear collection at the World Shoe Association show in Las Vegas!
I was reading up on Pete and Ashlee news wondering how the newlywed expectant parents to be are doing and smiled when I came across an article he did with PEOPLE. He seems content and excited about their baby’s arrival in a few months. The proud father to be has been reading books, watching movies, talking with his dad getting fatherly advice, and most importantly, being supportive and doting towards his wife Ashlee.
Here are some of the highlights of the interview he did with PEOPLE at his Angels & King nightspot in Chicago with Ashlee.
– “I’m reading a lot of books. The biggest one is The Expectant Father. It’s a really good one.”
– “The best advice my dad has given me was, go with your gut. And he said you can’t really have expectations. If I have expectations that he’s going to be a rock star, I’m sure he’ll come out being into sports, and if I have expectations that he’ll be into sports then he’ll be into math or something.”
– “I’m just going into taking it one step at a time, and I’m just excited to meet the baby.”
– “We’ll baby-proof the house,” he says, “getting the nursery ready.” Regarding its theme, “It’s not a secret, but it’s more of a private thing. I haven’t really figured it out yet, so I don’t want to go out there and say what it is and then have it not be that.”
–”Contrary to the stories out there, we don’t know the sex of the baby,” he says. “I’m a person that always likes to be surprised, so I like to wait for the surprise.”
– “Ashlee’s a trouper. She’s been really good with this. She’s probably one of the most health conscious, spiritually free pregnant women I’ve even been around.”
So sweet. It made me smile!

Taboo, whose real name is Jaime Luis Gómez, had his Black Eyed Peas band mates will.i.am and Apl de ap as his groomsmen and Taboo’s manager Polo Molina was best man.
The newlyweds are both wearing diamond and platinum bands, according to PEOPLE.
I wish them a long and happy marriage. Hmmm, I wonder when Josh and Fergie are going to make it official and tie the knot? They’ve been engaged for awhile now, wonder if the romance of the day will inspire them?!
I have to say Britney’s new weave is starting to look good. I guess her hair has finally grown out enough so the roots don’t look like a birds nest. I bet Britney is thrilled that her sister Jamie Lynn has finally popped. Now Britney has a new baby to play with.
On a side I wonder how Britney’s love life is doing… Do you think she has just given up on men? I think her and Jessica Simpson should hook up and go prowling together.
Usher sat down for an interview with Jive Magazine for their July issue. He talked about dissolving his working relationship with his mother who used to be his manager:
“I love my mother — she’s the only one I have,” he said, pausing for a moment before continuing. “I decided to not fire, not get rid of, but to give [my mother] the ultimate compliment — to retire her to be a full-time grandmother. My mother and I decided to change her situation, together. There was a conversation. I didn’t write her a letter or pink-slip her.”
He also talked about the difficult time he went through with his mom regarding his relationship with Tameka leading up to their off then on again wedding:
“I hurt more than anything over these last two years when I felt my mother didn’t really embrace my situation,” he told Vibe. “That really hurt me.”
“My mother is an aggressive person,” he said. “She makes hard decisions, and she caused me to make a hard decision as well.”
“Am I so much of a bad guy because I decided to get married? Am I so much of a bad guy [because once I got in the situation], I decided to stand for something, build a foundation, and think about my future?” he asked. “As a man, you would respect me for not turning my back on it. … It can never be bad to have a foundation as a man — a black man — in a time when women are dying for men. Women have started to become lovers of each other as a result of not having enough men. Are you not studying the stories? Wake up! Black love is a good thing.”
He also said he appreciates his wife and the values she brings to his life. “[Tameka] will tell me. If something doesn’t look right or she feels like it could look better, she’ll say something.
“The swagger I possess now definitely comes from my wife,” he said. “And my son completes me. He changes my perspective on what life is, and what matters.”
Usher also talked about married life in “Best Thing,” a song he duoed with Jay-Z also a newlywed on his new album, Here I Stand, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard albums chart earlier this month.
Rumor has it that Mariah only wanted a second wedding if it was paid for by selling her pictures. Somehow that doesn’t seem fair. I hate that celebrities get everything for free and this makes me very satisfied that she won’t get it (at least for now).
“Mariah was willing to pay for the wedding, but the way she hoped to pay for the wedding was through the sale of photos. No one was interested,” the source revealed.
Somehow I find this a little far fetched… Mimi is loaded why would she even bother to sell her pictures for a measly two million? It would be easier for her to go sing a song at some rich dudes birthday party.
Things seem to be going well personally as well as professionally for the former wild child. Lindsay had this to say about her friend SaMANtha:
“She’s an amazing friend. I can have a great time just having a quiet meal with her. I feel like I don’t need anything else.”
Well now, that says a lot doesn’t it?

Her co-star on the film Creed Bratton told Us Magainze:
“We had a table reading just the other day, and she was great,” he went on to say “She was very charming.”
Hopefully she stays on the right track, although I must admit, I do sort of miss all her drama!
Bobby Brown’s son Landon revealed to a UK magazine The Sun that he got with Lindsay Lohan…I have to say he isn’t very hot at all, although if Lindsay is really with that Sam Ronson then she has terrible taste!
He boasts: “Me and Lindsay got really, really close.
“She followed me to the bathroom during a private party, and, well, we basically got together.
“I think she knew who I was when she first saw me.
“We were just staring at each other and she walked by. I walked into the bathroom and she followed me in.”
Not sure if this Landon character is just trying to get some press, or if he actually did get with Lindsay.
What is up with all these beautiful Stars getting cheated on. I never expected anyone to cheat on the lovely Shania Twain especially since she was married to Mutt Lange for the last 14 years!
Music producer Robert “Mutt” Lange, was apprantly screwing his longtime secretary and manager of the couple’s chateau in Switzerland. Her name is Marie Anne Thiebaud…
A source said “Mutt and Marie Ann left their spouses for each other and are still in a relationship, Shania is apparently “devastated”. This came out of left field…She loved him.”
We all know that Paris Hilton has been dying to get married. Hasn’t the girl been engaged like ten times? Paris was telling People magazine that she wants to wear a white Dolce and Gabbana dress. Why bother with white Paris? We all know you have slept with a LOT of guys. She even has an STD (Herpes) so how could she expect us to be ok with a ‘white’ wedding dress. How about off white, or eggshell?
