Usher sat down for an interview with Jive Magazine for their July issue. He talked about dissolving his working relationship with his mother who used to be his manager:
“I love my mother — she’s the only one I have,” he said, pausing for a moment before continuing. “I decided to not fire, not get rid of, but to give [my mother] the ultimate compliment — to retire her to be a full-time grandmother. My mother and I decided to change her situation, together. There was a conversation. I didn’t write her a letter or pink-slip her.”
He also talked about the difficult time he went through with his mom regarding his relationship with Tameka leading up to their off then on again wedding:
“I hurt more than anything over these last two years when I felt my mother didn’t really embrace my situation,” he told Vibe. “That really hurt me.”
“My mother is an aggressive person,” he said. “She makes hard decisions, and she caused me to make a hard decision as well.”
“Am I so much of a bad guy because I decided to get married? Am I so much of a bad guy [because once I got in the situation], I decided to stand for something, build a foundation, and think about my future?” he asked. “As a man, you would respect me for not turning my back on it. … It can never be bad to have a foundation as a man — a black man — in a time when women are dying for men. Women have started to become lovers of each other as a result of not having enough men. Are you not studying the stories? Wake up! Black love is a good thing.”
He also said he appreciates his wife and the values she brings to his life. “[Tameka] will tell me. If something doesn’t look right or she feels like it could look better, she’ll say something.
“The swagger I possess now definitely comes from my wife,” he said. “And my son completes me. He changes my perspective on what life is, and what matters.”
Usher also talked about married life in “Best Thing,” a song he duoed with Jay-Z also a newlywed on his new album, Here I Stand, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard albums chart earlier this month.
Rumor has it that Mariah only wanted a second wedding if it was paid for by selling her pictures. Somehow that doesn’t seem fair. I hate that celebrities get everything for free and this makes me very satisfied that she won’t get it (at least for now).
“Mariah was willing to pay for the wedding, but the way she hoped to pay for the wedding was through the sale of photos. No one was interested,” the source revealed.
Somehow I find this a little far fetched… Mimi is loaded why would she even bother to sell her pictures for a measly two million? It would be easier for her to go sing a song at some rich dudes birthday party.
Things seem to be going well personally as well as professionally for the former wild child. Lindsay had this to say about her friend SaMANtha:
“She’s an amazing friend. I can have a great time just having a quiet meal with her. I feel like I don’t need anything else.”
Well now, that says a lot doesn’t it?

“We had a table reading just the other day, and she was great,” he went on to say “She was very charming.”

Bobby Brown’s son Landon revealed to a UK magazine The Sun that he got with Lindsay Lohan…I have to say he isn’t very hot at all, although if Lindsay is really with that Sam Ronson then she has terrible taste!
He boasts: “Me and Lindsay got really, really close.
“She followed me to the bathroom during a private party, and, well, we basically got together.
“I think she knew who I was when she first saw me.
“We were just staring at each other and she walked by. I walked into the bathroom and she followed me in.”
Not sure if this Landon character is just trying to get some press, or if he actually did get with Lindsay.
What is up with all these beautiful Stars getting cheated on. I never expected anyone to cheat on the lovely Shania Twain especially since she was married to Mutt Lange for the last 14 years!
Music producer Robert “Mutt” Lange, was apprantly screwing his longtime secretary and manager of the couple’s chateau in Switzerland. Her name is Marie Anne Thiebaud…
A source said “Mutt and Marie Ann left their spouses for each other and are still in a relationship, Shania is apparently “devastated”. This came out of left field…She loved him.”
We all know that Paris Hilton has been dying to get married. Hasn’t the girl been engaged like ten times? Paris was telling People magazine that she wants to wear a white Dolce and Gabbana dress. Why bother with white Paris? We all know you have slept with a LOT of guys. She even has an STD (Herpes) so how could she expect us to be ok with a ‘white’ wedding dress. How about off white, or eggshell?
Madonna has just landed a very lucrative deal for herself. She is the first artist to broker a deal with StubHub which lets people resell or legally scalp their concert tickets. StubHub is owned by eBay.
She will get a flat fee as well as a cut of all the ticket sales. Do you know what this means? Lemme break it down… the more people pay for tickets, the more she’ll make! I think its stupid, concerts are already really expensive. Now that she has done this, all artists will follow and I will never get those first few rows of the floor for the standard price!
She’s currently getting 300 bucks for her best seats on her tour, but now she’ll make even more!
Mariah Carey secretly married her 27-year-old boyfriend-of-one-month, stunning herfamily and friends, The Post is reporting.
Their wedding allegedly took place inEleuthera, the Bahamas.
“They have been smitten with each other for days, weeks,” the friend said. “And she’s always had a crush on him.”
Nick Cannon was previously engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks, that only lasted 5 months. Such a shame since he went all out when he proposed via the Times Square jumbotron.
Cannon reportedly cooed that he loved “everything” about her.
“Everyone is happy to see her happy,” Carey’s friend told The Post. “And it could work out -” some people know each other for five years and get divorced, maybe this is true instant love.”
“There was no pre-nup - there wasn’t time,” said another worried source.
Guests at the wedding included Carey’s longtime pal, rapper Da Brat.
Carey is riding high. She recently beat Elvis in the amount of No. 1 hits on the Billboard charts , her “Touch My Body” was hit number 18 for her.
E=MC2, debuted at No. 1 on the charts as well.
Nick started out with a part in Nickelodeon’s “All That,” then worked in some bit parts in movies, and a part in 50 Cent’s video “Disco Inferno”. The he hit it big time when he was asked to perform in Mariah’s latest video which he ended up directing.

It’s cute that she talks to her fan site, and that she actually reads her fan mail. I guess that is what keeps her going everyday because if she read the blogs I am sure she would have a breakdown.

So we heard the speculation but now her fans have some very obvious evidence that Rihanna and Chris Brown are a couple. Here they were snapped cuddling in public, isn’t it just too sweet?
I am kind of disappointed with Rihanna’s new hairdo, it really doesn’t suit her. I wish she would let it grow and have those long luscious locks that she had when she started out. The whole pixie cut is so overrated!
