KFed and Britney’s never-ending custody battle is going to trial. Both of their attorneys spent the entire day trying to figure out a custody arrangement but were unable to come to an agreement.
Kevin’s attorney told E!, “The mediation didn’t result in an agreement that would avoid the trial set in August … The mood was comfortable, positive and it was a mood that was consistent with opening at least a great dialogue, which is necessary.”
KFed is seeking sole and legal custody of their sons with Britney getting visitation rights. Kevin’s attorney also stated that, “If the existing arrangement was acceptable to both parties … we wouldn’t have to go to trial.”
I don’t understand this at all. Britney has to be constantly supervised herself so how can she get custody of her children? I have to admit that I do think she is doing better and good for her… but she isn’t doing it on her own.
The trial is set to begin August 25th.
Mitch Winehouse spoke out about how sick his daughter is : “The doctors have said that if she had continued the way she was going she could have ended up an invalid - she wouldn’t have been able to breathe. With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes her lungs are all gunked up. There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She’s got 70 per cent lung capacity.”
He then went on to say: “I’m saying to those drug dealers, and they know who they are, if they are supplying crack to Amy, then they’ve got to take responsibility. I don’t want her hanging out with her mates like Pete Doherty either.”
I am glad that Amy`s father is actually telling us what is going on, this way no rumors like the TB one will circulate. It is better to just be straight up and honest, I really admire that. I hate when people beat around the bush, whereas Mitch just comes right out and says she has to stop smoking crack!
Usher sat down for an interview with Jive Magazine for their July issue. He talked about dissolving his working relationship with his mother who used to be his manager:
“I love my mother — she’s the only one I have,” he said, pausing for a moment before continuing. “I decided to not fire, not get rid of, but to give [my mother] the ultimate compliment — to retire her to be a full-time grandmother. My mother and I decided to change her situation, together. There was a conversation. I didn’t write her a letter or pink-slip her.”
He also talked about the difficult time he went through with his mom regarding his relationship with Tameka leading up to their off then on again wedding:
“I hurt more than anything over these last two years when I felt my mother didn’t really embrace my situation,” he told Vibe. “That really hurt me.”
“My mother is an aggressive person,” he said. “She makes hard decisions, and she caused me to make a hard decision as well.”
“Am I so much of a bad guy because I decided to get married? Am I so much of a bad guy [because once I got in the situation], I decided to stand for something, build a foundation, and think about my future?” he asked. “As a man, you would respect me for not turning my back on it. … It can never be bad to have a foundation as a man — a black man — in a time when women are dying for men. Women have started to become lovers of each other as a result of not having enough men. Are you not studying the stories? Wake up! Black love is a good thing.”
He also said he appreciates his wife and the values she brings to his life. “[Tameka] will tell me. If something doesn’t look right or she feels like it could look better, she’ll say something.
“The swagger I possess now definitely comes from my wife,” he said. “And my son completes me. He changes my perspective on what life is, and what matters.”
Usher also talked about married life in “Best Thing,” a song he duoed with Jay-Z also a newlywed on his new album, Here I Stand, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard albums chart earlier this month.
Mariah Carey recently told Ellen DeGeneres that most of the people at her Bahamian wedding were “mainly people that did her hair and helped her with the dress.”
Mariah wants to have the wedding in New York and make it huge..
A source said, “She wants over 2,000 guests and the budget will be well over $4 million and she’ll have at least 14 bridesmaids.”
Why have a secret wedding in a rush, and then all of a sudden have another huge one? I guess Mimi just got caught up in the moment!
Tony Romo is a true gentlemen. Even though he and Jessica Simpson broke up he kept his word and took Jess to the wedding. Isn’t that just so sweet? He probably just wants that last little bit of media attention. Now that he isn’t with Jess anymore I doubt the press will talk too much about him. I had never even heard of him until Jessica started dating him. (Although I am not really a Team Sports kinda girl)
Lindsay Lohan went on a radio station today and told them how she hates her dad talking to the media. Finally! You think she would have gotten him to shut up already. I love that she broadcasts her message through the media to her dad.
She said, “I just wish that he wouldn’t go and talk to the media. It’s not attractive to me, it really upsets me and I wish he would stop. … I love my father. I just don’t know why he’s doing what he’s doing. It’s a weird situation, very odd.”
Do you think Michael Lohan will shut up? I somehow doubt it.. he is most likely getting paid or is just an idiot. We don’t see Paris family going around telling the world that ’she has changed… I love her… she needs to get new people in her life…’
I don’t really understand why Michael doesn’t realize he doesn’t need to address the press every time Lindsay does something minor.
Britney’s dad went to court, and asked a Judge if he could sell some of Britney’s cars. I wonder why he is trying to liquidate her stuff. Maybe Britney isn’t actually making 700k a month anymore. Her perfumes have been out for awhile now, I am sure people are semi embarrassed to say they are wearing “Britney.” Britney’s dad also asked the judge to extend the retraining order against Sam Lutfi. I am glad that guy is staying away he was definitely bad news.
Britney and her father went out for dinner after her visit with her boys. I guess the two are getting along great, since Sam Lutifi is out of the picture. We haven’t seen too much of Adnan either, I bet Britney has finally come to some sense (although it isn’t fashion sense) about Adnan. Britney’s purple number probably wasn’t the best choice of outfit, but then again it doesn’t really matter because she caused a paparazzi frenzy as she strolled around town. The whole sunglasses thing at night isn’t really doing it for me either.
TMZ has said that Britney Spears’ divorce lawyers, Trope and Trope, no longer want to be Britney’s lawyers. They sent the papers out requesting to be removed as her counsel. Her case is probably so high maintenance they are not able to deal with any of their other clients. Even though Britney is a high profile celebrity, it is probably the biggest headache having to counsel her. It is probably for the best anyway, because Jamie Spears is taking over, and wants his own attorneys.
I am posting a hot picture of Britney, because I think we all forget that just a few years ago, she was so happy and very sexy! It is sad how someone’s life can go completely out of control.
