Prince Albert praised her voice by saying it “soothes the world’s hearts and creates smiles of love across the face of the world” when he presented the it to her. Celine dedicated her award in both English and French to her family saying: ” Every time I go on stage it’s all of them going on stage with me.” She’s from a family of 14 children, all of them musical, and she’s the youngest.

Avril Lavigne received awards for : Best Selling pop/rock female artist and best selling Canadian artist.

Patti La Belle was paid tribute for her long time contribution to R&B who also received a standing ovation for her performance of “Lady Marmalade” had this to say: “I love this show because it unites the world with music; we need peace in the world.”

Mika walked away the main winner of the evening. He received awards for:
