Hilary Duff’s dad is going to jail for 10 days because he wouldn’t hand over some cash for her 21st birthday to her mom.
The Houston Chronicle is reporting that Mrs. Duff took her ex into court today in a motion to ask for $25,000 to share in the cost for Hilary’s 21st birthday since that is the same amount that they spent on Haylie’s 21st bday a couple of years ago.
The judge agreed and told Bob Duff he had to cough up $12,500 for the shindig AND he also sentenced Mr. Duff to serve 10 days in jail for contempt of court because he sold off assets totaling $367,537.00 without having the court’s approval.
As he was led off handcuffed, Mrs. Duff allegedly murmured:
“This isn’t what I wanted.”
Was she hoping he’d just write her a cheque for the entire amount and smile as he did it? Who informed the judge he sold off assets? Hmm?? Had to have been her as I don’t think Daddy Duff would have freely given that information!
Miley will be celebrating her sweet 16 birthday in Disneyland this November 23rd and she’ll be selling a limited number of expensive ($250.00) tickets to the private party. She wants some of her fans to party with her… for a price and it ain’t cheap

Paris Hilton was partying for a reason this weekend, by celebrating her birthday party (even though her bday is sometime next week) Although I am not a fan of her outfit choice, her hair is not looking so bad. Her pink hair is better than when Avril did it, and I feel that at least Paris’ will wash out. Her stockings remind me of when you go through one of those automated car-washes. If you don’t know what I am talking about, just look at her stockings. One thing I do want to point out is that her pink shoes match her stockings, isn’t that just darling? On second look, her outfit reminds me of Alice (In Wonderland) but cracked out some sort of illegal substance.
So it was Britney Spears’ 26th birthday this weekend so she dressed up like trash and went out to the Scandinavian Mansion of Style event in Los Angeles. I am surprised that Britney didn’t host her own birthday bash to make some money at one of the clubs. I guess it was a last minute sort of thing… btw is that a fur coat she is wearing?? PETA is going to be pissed if it is!
KFed and Britney’s attorneys worked out the Christmas visitation schedule today in court with Britney getting custody of the boys for Christmas Day since Kevin had them for Thanksgiving. I find this interesting since she was studying the Jewish Kabalah just a little while ago.
No mention as to whether the court appointed monitor will be there when they open their Christmas presents.
The whole situation is so sad really. Sad for the boys not having both their parents together, sad that her family is not able to intervene and help her get her life back on track.
Christina Aguilera went out for a breezy night on the town. She was caught without wearing panties! Totally something Britney would do! Maybe she is expecting her water to break, and feels there is really no need to wear panties because they would just get in the way! Or maybe she was just getting lucky in the limo with her adorable husband!

Apparently, she and proud daddy Joel started a charity for mothers who need help and guests were asked to bring a donation, which was a very nice thing to do.
I haven’t seen many pictures of Nicole and Paris together recently, so it was great to see that they have kissed and made up!
Bono was given an honour by Alicia Keys for his charity work at an Aids fundraiser in New York.
The Black Ball event, was held to raise money for the Keep A Child Alive Foundation which provides treatment for Aids victims in Africa. Gwen Stefani, and Sheryl Crow were also there.
Alicia Keys, who co-founded the charity, described him as “an amazing man (who) works tirelessly at really having a cause and fighting for it”.
She went on to say, “He is an inspiration and single-handedly made it cool to have something to speak about”.
Bono who accepted the award modestly said: “Rock stars always want to do two things. They want to have fun and change the world. If they can do both at the same time, you’re okay”.
Johnny Grant, (Honorary Mayor of Hollywood) congratulated Ricky Martin on selling an astounding 55 million records across the globe. Ricky is the 2351st person to get one! Isn’t that just awesome! We know that stars love their awards.
We haven’t seen or heard from Ricky in what feels like years, maybe he will come out with another hot single. I don’t mind shaking my booty too his song Living Da Vida Loca! He sure is a sexy latino!
We haven’t seen too much of the lovebirds together lately but they were spotted out for dinner late on Friday night.
I am glad to see that Justin hasn’t strayed away from Jessica, because he is probably tempted daily by fans and other hot celebrities wanting a piece of his sexy back. Jessica really seems down to earth, and is really only caught doing healthy things, not partying till she drops like other Hollywood girls her age. I do wish she would die her hair back lighter, she looks so plain when its dark brown like that. !I am not saying even bleach blond or anything, but just not so dark. )
