Victoria told the November issue that hits newstands next week: “I’ve never played safe with my image. I feel like an Indian princess!”
Hmm, while I admit she looks lovely, her comment could be misconstrued. The cultural appropriation where she claims to feel like “an Indian princess” isn’t going to please some people. Also, some might think it offensive to dress up like it’s Halloween in another culture’s garments.

Christina Aguilera and her hubby Jordan Bratman got all dressed up the other evening and this picture was taken while they were out having a romantic dinner at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon restaurant in London’s Covent Garden on Thursday.
I’m sure she has people that dress her and do her makeup, why would they let her out looking like this? If this is her own personal style expressing herself and doing the makeup application, well then… she should stick to what she is good at and that is singing.
I do give her points for ALWAYS having her roots done to purrrrrrrfection!
Little Scary Pink Hood!
Scary Spice aka Melanie Brown wore a hooded dress with crystal detailing at the 2008 MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) Awards held at Wembley Arena on Wednesday in London. The awards recognize artists of any race or nationality who perform music of black origin.
To get back to the dress…The hood can also be flipped backwards to create a shoulder covering, which makes it not only stylish, but also dual purpose. It’s also a fun look and fashion should be fun sometimes!
After looking at this picture of Lindsay striking a pose, it seems as if she’s been wearing her leggings for way too long! Lindsay was at the Diesel xXx 30th anniversary “Rock and Roll Circus” celebration at Brooklyn Waterfront’s Pier 3 on Saturday in Brooklyn, New York. It was a themed party for 5,000 of Diesel’s closest friends and coolest trendsetters.
In other Lindsay-related news, today is the launch of her clothing line, 6126, at Henri Bendel in New York City. Here is her recent blog entry:
“I’m thrilled to announce that my new fashion collection, 6126 is finally ready for launch!!
I love to wear leggings, so it should come as no surprise that my first venture into the world of fashion design is with leggings! I named the collection after Marilyn Monroe’s birthdate, because to me she represents timeless, confident glam and that is the voice of this brand. (Lindsay posed as Marilyn earlier this year.)
Our holiday collection is pretty eclectic from gold zippers to leather detailing, to buttery soft cashmere. I hope you enjoy the collection as much as I enjoyed making it.

Miami’s notorious bad boy had his belated 26th birthday bash Monday night at Washington Ave.’s infamous Mansion. He rolled in with his entourage at around 2 a.m. holding a stack of Styrofoam cups. One cup for his drink, and another cup for cotton candy. In between taking bites of the fluffy candy he flashed his diamond-encrusted grill.
Friends that came out included Poe Boy Brisco, Birdman, DJ Khaled, Mack Maine, G12, manager Cortez Bryant and other randoms. When he arrived he was greeted with 12 bottles of bubbly, topped with sparklers. He spent the night partying with his homies in a roped-off section of the club.
A description of the festivities:
“Samba dancers were outfitted in feathers, silver thongs and swinging beads, and as they worked the poles, fans seemed more interested in the celebratory activities underway at Wayne’s VIP. For those who didn’t make it past the velvet rope, bartenders offered bottle service at one bar, while the other sported a chillin’ ice sculpture for Wayne, carved with the Young Money logo.”
LaToya Jackson went to see her sister Janet perform at The Staples Center. She also checked out Janet’s party at Hyde’s following her show. Haven’t really heard or seen much from her lately and she still hasn’t finished her album called Startin’ Over yet… even though she supposedly has been working on it for the past five years.
Looks as if she’s been working on herself though. She doesn’t look as if she has aged much but her facial skin looks lighter and her bosom looks so perky. I also don’t remember her being so pale nor do I don’t recall reading that she had vitiligo like her bro Michael claims he has.
It’s really quite disturbing how so many of the Jackson family members have had plastic surgery on their noses, even their mama seems to have gone under the knife as well. Shame really.
Lindsay has started a new brand-development firm called “Stay Gold.” More like Stay Orange. Look at her upper lip!
She already launched a collection of $200 leggings and now she’s working on designing a cheaper line for shoppers on a budget. Her new line of bargain leggings will average around $48. What a deal! NOT!! That’s still too expensive. Doesn’t she realize that she is designing for a specific demographic: young girls.
Why not create a collection of disposable leggings similar to pantyhose? If the price was right her fans would probably buy several pairs at a time!
As well as the economical leggings, she’s also going to sell a self-tanner. Looking at the picture above would anyone consider buying it? She looks as if she has an orange moustache.

Fergie has two converted bedrooms (closets) filled with her collection of clothes — one for her casual and a second for fancy. She told the magazine:
“I don’t like to throw anything away.”
A couple of notable mentions in the double issue that hits stands Friday include best dressed television show — “Gossip Girl” — and most memorable style moments - Lindsay Lohan’s mink coat fiasco… which was when she left a party wearing some other chica’s $11,000 heirloom coat.
Nicole Richie had just exited the after-party for Charlotte Ronson (Lindsay Lohan’s gf SaMan’s sister) in New York the other night when a female tourist from Sweden began taking her picture. A witness told Page Six that Nicole over-reacted by yelling at her:
“I’m not an animal,” as she “jumped over the velvet rope, ripped the camera out of the girl’s hand, and smashed it to the ground.”
I don’t know what her problem is? Leaving an after party for a fashion designer means that it’s obvious the paparazzi and star struck fans with cameras will be there. That’s what they do, hang out hoping to snap a picture of someone famous. I think the headband has cut off circulation to her brain, if she doesn’t want to be seen publicly stay away from gatherings where celebrities will be, and for eff sake, don’t wear a glittery headband, that is just asking for attention.
Jessica left the Toronto International Film Festival and flew to New York to have dinner with her boyfriend Justin Timberlake at his restaurant “Southern Hospitality” last night. Since she wasn’t able to be at his William Rast show and Fashion Rocks to catch his performance with Beyonce, this latest appearance together proves that she is still his loyal girlfriend and model of his jeans. I must say that jeans over the boots look she is rocking is so… eww.
Check out her face. No WONDER she didn’t want a picture taken! I joke! Maybe she was having a bad day? Exhausted? I imagine they both wish they could just go out without getting annoyed by the public and the paps. They deserve to have a private dinner if they want to!
Even though they are in the public eye they still lead the same lives we do, just trying to get by. I’d be annoyed if every time I went out someone was trying to snap my picture too.
