Beyonce and hubby Jay-Z had a dinner date at the Waverly Inn last night in New York City.
She’s wearing Anlo “Jamie” jeans in Abyss wash and a sexy Balmain jacket and both look so good on her. I read that Beyonce earned $80 million last year mostly because of the success of her latest album, I Am… Sasha Fierce.
Jay-Z made a wee bit more than she did. He raked in around $82 million, according to reports by Parade. The couple have built quite the empire together what with their album sales, product endorsements, movies, concerts, magazine covers, fashion line etc…
Beyonce has currently been in talks with The X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke. The two girls are thinking of hooking up for a possible duet. They performed Beyonce’s song “Listen” together during the finale of the reality show and the fans loved it.

The nautical-themed ads will appear in Samantha Thavasa’s 117 shops nationwide in Japan.
Paris Hilton was the previous spokesperson for the Thavasa brand.
Beyonce helped celebrate MTV’s TRL “Total Finale Live” at the MTV studios in Times Square this past Sunday in New York City by putting on a very energetic performance.
This past Saturday, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake did a skit together on Saturday Night Live, and it was hilarious. JT slipped into a pair of black high heel pumps and a leotard making sure to tuck in his twig and berries to make fun at the rumors that Beyonce had hired a drag queen for her “Single Ladies” music video.
When asked by talk show host Oprah Winfrey if she ever took her alter ego home to Jay-Z, Beyonce, who is Crazy In Love with her hubby said:
“Sometimes, not often. Only on special occasions.”
Beyonce will perform for the third time in her career at the 2008 American Music Awards. She was just added to the list of previously announced performers some of whom include Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Ne-Yo, Mariah Carey, Coldplay, New Kids on the Block, Pussycat Dolls, P!nk, and The Fray.
Annie Lennox will be honored with a special Award of Merit.
Jimmy Kimmel will be the host and the show will be broadcast live from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. on Sunday, November 23 @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
Beyonce wants to add another title to her list of things to do — superhero. She recently told the LA Times newspaper.
“I want to do a superhero movie and what would be better than Wonder Woman? It would be great, and it would be a very bold choice. A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing. It’s time for that, right?”
She’s apparently already had a meeting with reps from Warner Bros. and DC Comics where she told them she was interested in the role Lynda Carter made famous in the 1970s.
Beyonce knows very well she would need to be fit for the wonder woman role and the newspaper quotes her as saying to them:
“I would definitely have to keep it right for that costume. The way that Lynda Carter wore it, she was sooo fine.”

Beyoncé was quite the sensation on Friday when she publicly displayed her wedding ring on the red carpet for Fashion Rocks at Radio City Music Hall in N.Y.C… for the first time.
She was photographed on the red carpet wearing an 18 carat flawless diamond by Lorraine Schwartz that is worth more than $5 million dollars… so says the jeweler.
Neither she nor Jay-Z have publicly confirmed their marriage but just recently, Beyoncé’s younger sister Solange referred to Jay-Z as her brother-in-law during a television interview.
Beyoncé took off the ring when she did her duet with Justin Timberlake, and put it back on when she wore the short blonde wig to sing a tribute to blues singer Etta James whom she portrays in an upcoming film.
Some of the celebs also present at the event were: Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, Tommy Hilfiger, Hayden Panettiere, Paula Abdul, Fergie, Ciara, Natasha Bedingfield, Chris Brown, Terrance Howard and Chace Crawford.
The 5th Annual Fashion Rocks concert was held at Radio City Music Hall last night. It was a gathering of some of the music industry’s finest talent who turned out to help celebrate fashion and music.
One of the highlights of the evening was a duet performed by Justin Timberlake and Beyonce. The two did a rendition of “Aint Nothing Like The Real Thing” doing a fabulous tribute to the soulful sound sound made famous by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.
Proceeds from this event will be donated to Stand Up To Cancer, a program created by the Entertainment Industry Foundation to raise awareness and money for cancer research. Other performers included Kid Rock, Keith Urban, Duffy, the Pussycat Dolls and the Black Eyed Peas as well as a fantastic collaboration of more than a dozen divas which aired by a live feed to be shown on television Tuesday evening in a two hour special.
Snitches on the set of “Cadillac Records” in Harrison, N.J., tell us that Beyonce who plays Etta James in the film rudely ignored some kids who had been waiting for hours in the rain to get her autograph.
She was apparently overly obsessed with trying to keeping her hairdo covered rather than take some time out to sign some autographs. Supposedly it was drizzling out, and diva Beyonce ran past cheering fans while her posse of bodyguards, held up umbrellas over her.
When she resurfaced outside later on that same day, still no time for the fans, she hid out with a blanket over her head. As someone who has naturally curly hair, the damp weather is something to fear! It brings the frizzies out!
Jay-Z is gifted lyricist as well as a successful hit maker, but there is another talent he is proud of. He told MTV News in an interview recently: “I’m a master sequencer, I pride myself on that” referring to the process of choosing the order in which songs appear on an album.
“I think my best job was Rihanna’s album,” Jay said of June’s Good Girl Gone Bad, which he executive produced. “If you listen to [that], it’s flawless as far as the sequencing.
I guess he is feeling pretty successful! He may have helped with Rihanna’s album, but we have to admit she is amazingly hot and that had to help for something!
