I was reading up on Pete and Ashlee news wondering how the newlywed expectant parents to be are doing and smiled when I came across an article he did with PEOPLE. He seems content and excited about their baby’s arrival in a few months. The proud father to be has been reading books, watching movies, talking with his dad getting fatherly advice, and most importantly, being supportive and doting towards his wife Ashlee.
Here are some of the highlights of the interview he did with PEOPLE at his Angels & King nightspot in Chicago with Ashlee.
– “I’m reading a lot of books. The biggest one is The Expectant Father. It’s a really good one.”
– “The best advice my dad has given me was, go with your gut. And he said you can’t really have expectations. If I have expectations that he’s going to be a rock star, I’m sure he’ll come out being into sports, and if I have expectations that he’ll be into sports then he’ll be into math or something.”
– “I’m just going into taking it one step at a time, and I’m just excited to meet the baby.”
– “We’ll baby-proof the house,” he says, “getting the nursery ready.” Regarding its theme, “It’s not a secret, but it’s more of a private thing. I haven’t really figured it out yet, so I don’t want to go out there and say what it is and then have it not be that.”
–”Contrary to the stories out there, we don’t know the sex of the baby,” he says. “I’m a person that always likes to be surprised, so I like to wait for the surprise.”
– “Ashlee’s a trouper. She’s been really good with this. She’s probably one of the most health conscious, spiritually free pregnant women I’ve even been around.”
So sweet. It made me smile!
Britney Spears showed up to her lil sisters baby shower yesterday. The photo is a bit fuzzy.. but I guess that is what we get when we have paparazzi who are trying to scope out the scene when they are not invited.
This doesn’t seem like too much of a baby shower to me, but I guess it was pretty exclusive. Where are all the presents?
Jamie Lynn’s bump is sure growing quick. I just saw pictures of her out and about on her birthday where it looked like she had no baby bump at at all. I don’t really know what to think of Jamie Lynn, I can’t believe she got pregnant at such a young age. It must be pretty hard for her having to be in the spotlight like this. She basically just gave up the rest of her childhood, along with her party years.
It has been awhile since we have seen Jennifer and Marc. They have been hiding since the birth of their twins. JLo still has not lost the babyweight. I am very glad to see this actually. Nicole Richie went out like 2 days later and looked pretty much as she did before the pregnancy. I am sure JLo will get back to her figure within a few months time.
Check out the latest pics of her growing baby belly. She’s been photographed by the paparazzi going to the gym on a daily basis so it’s interesting to me how quickly and noticeably she is expanding! It almost seems like she is farther along that she says she is. Her butt and tummy are looking quite huge for just a few months pregnant! It is not like she has been lazying around either, she has been at the gym every day.
Here are some pictures from the Wizard of Oz themed party that Paris co-hosted for the proud mama to be. I must say Nicole is looking healthy. Apparently, she and proud daddy Joel started a charity for mothers who need help and guests were asked to bring a donation, which was a very nice thing to do.
I haven’t seen many pictures of Nicole and Paris together recently, so it was great to see that they have kissed and made up!
Omg, when I saw this bikini shot I never laughed so hard. If you remember, awhile back anorexic Nicole decided she should come out to show off her bones to the paparazzi in a nice stylish yellow bikini. Nowa full figured pregnant Nicole busts out the yellow kini and I am glad to say it finally fits her! Wow you wouldn’t even know it is the same person.
Jennifer Lopez is sure fueling the fire that she has a bun in the oven! Jlo has been wandering around town in maternity wear that pretty much hides all of her belly. Everyone is on bump watch waiting for a glimpse that the latin diva is actually pregnant. We know her and Marc Anthony really want a baby and I bet they are just waiting a few months so they can stir up a few rumors and of course wait until the baby is safely out of the danger zone.
Rumors are swirling that she is pregnant.
“Halle is so happy right now. She’s wanted a baby for so long. But at the same time she’s scared because she is very aware of the complications that having diabetes can cause during pregnancy. She’s doing everything possible to make sure her baby is born healthy.”
I guess we will have to wait and see for the baby bump to grow!
Wow check out this picture of Nicole Richie’s new rack. I must say her pregnancy is really giving her some nicer curves. I am sure Joel approves too!
