Heidi Montag was one of the many celebs that showed their support at the Race to Erase MS shopping benefit in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
She had this to say to Hollyscoop about her latest project, as well as shared who she’d like to work with in the future:
“Well, my single is out right now and we are kind of playing a singles game, I have been working in the studio a lot and we are just figuring it out. I would [like to collaborate with] lil Wayne, for sure! Maybe Britney Spears down the road, Madonna, I don’t know there are a lot of people.”
Dream on girl, get real.
Does she honestly think any of them will take her up on her offer?
Usher sat down for an interview with Jive Magazine for their July issue. He talked about dissolving his working relationship with his mother who used to be his manager:
“I love my mother — she’s the only one I have,” he said, pausing for a moment before continuing. “I decided to not fire, not get rid of, but to give [my mother] the ultimate compliment — to retire her to be a full-time grandmother. My mother and I decided to change her situation, together. There was a conversation. I didn’t write her a letter or pink-slip her.”
He also talked about the difficult time he went through with his mom regarding his relationship with Tameka leading up to their off then on again wedding:
“I hurt more than anything over these last two years when I felt my mother didn’t really embrace my situation,” he told Vibe. “That really hurt me.”
“My mother is an aggressive person,” he said. “She makes hard decisions, and she caused me to make a hard decision as well.”
“Am I so much of a bad guy because I decided to get married? Am I so much of a bad guy [because once I got in the situation], I decided to stand for something, build a foundation, and think about my future?” he asked. “As a man, you would respect me for not turning my back on it. … It can never be bad to have a foundation as a man — a black man — in a time when women are dying for men. Women have started to become lovers of each other as a result of not having enough men. Are you not studying the stories? Wake up! Black love is a good thing.”
He also said he appreciates his wife and the values she brings to his life. “[Tameka] will tell me. If something doesn’t look right or she feels like it could look better, she’ll say something.
“The swagger I possess now definitely comes from my wife,” he said. “And my son completes me. He changes my perspective on what life is, and what matters.”
Usher also talked about married life in “Best Thing,” a song he duoed with Jay-Z also a newlywed on his new album, Here I Stand, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard albums chart earlier this month.
Mariah Carey had an autograph signing at the Universal City Walk late last week and she lost a lot of fans during the event. The singer not only showed up two hours late but also took her time signing autographs for 1000 fans in line who had guaranteed meet & greet wristbands on by pre-ordering her album from FYE. Come 1 in the morning, there were still around 100 fans in line who had been waiting for over 8 hours to meet her when Mariah suddenly decides to get up and leave the stage to go home. Fans booed and left angry due to the unprofessional diva.
Here are some promo shots from Alanis Morissette’s latest album: “Flavors of Entanglement.” Why is she trying to sell the sexy? What is she sitting on, is it a balance beam? Does she do gymnastics to keep in shape? I don’t know, maybe it’s me, but it seems as if she keeps trying to reinvent herself. First she was a pop princess, then she was the angry girl, now she’s older and trying too damn hard.
Ashlee Simpson’s new cover was getting bad reviews.. so the record label changed it but only a bit. They basically got rid of the terrible font and gave it a cleaner look. It still look basically the same though. You think they would have at least did a full overhaul. The music industry is definitely cheap and very lazy!

Madonna’s new album finally has a cover. The album is titled Hard Candy, and I am glad that Madonna’s cover actually somewhat looks like the title. It reminds me of one of those campino strawberries and cream candies. Maybe those are Madonna’s fave. Even though Madonna is photoshopped to sh*t.
Dolly Parton’s new album is out on February 26th, and I LOVE the cover. Dolly looks just like Barbie, it almost creeps me out but then I look at it and it is just too cute. I love how her name is ‘Dolly’ and that she is portraying the most loved doll in the world. I guess they do have a lot of similarities, they are both extremely old (lol), they are both dolls and they are both blonde! What a coincidence! I am thinking that they photo-shopped Dolly’s head onto an actual barbie, because those arms just don’t look real!
I am not sure what is up with Mimi but she has lost a lot of weight and is looking ridiculously fine. On other Mariah Carey news it has been announced that her album has been pushed back to either April or July, rather than early spring. I guess that she doesn’t want to compete with Janet’s new album. I think that is the tightest dress I have ever seen.
There have been internet rumors that Madonna is naming next album, Licorice, and will have collaborations with Kanye West and Pharell, and a few others.
Madonna’s publicist, Liz Rosenberg, has actually denied reports that Madonnas new album will be called Licorice but did say it is coming out in April.
There are some other reports that it will be called Give It To Me. I don’t think it will though because that was the name of Timbaland, smash hit featuring Nelly and Justin!

After her terrible album 20 YO, Janet is back working on a new album. I guess she is gearing up for some major competition!

What boggles my mind is how Janet can gain and loose 50 pounds in a year and end up with abs that looks like this!
