Green Day has just premiered the video for their new single, “21 Guns,” exclusively on MySpace Music. The video was helmed by noted director Marc Webb, who has lensed clips for such artists as My Chemical Romance, Weezer, and All-American Rejects, and is making his feature film directorial debut in July with (500) Days of Summer.
“21 Guns” is the second single from the band’s latest album 21st Century Breakdown, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, as well as on the Rock, Active Rock, and Alternative charts, fueled by the Alternative radio No. 1 single “Know Your Enemy.” 21st Century Breakdown, which Rolling Stone has called “a rock opera in which the rock always comes first,” also topped the charts in 24 countries including the UK, Canada, and Japan.
Over the past month, Green Day has continued to work with MySpace Music for the promotion of 21st Century Breakdown. During the week of the album’s release, they played an exclusive concert in New York City which was filmed for the site’s premiere online concert program, The List. The performance can now be seen on The List’s official MySpace profile.
This year’s show will take place at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 9th, and air the next day, Monday, August 10th, on FOX at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Fans can vote for Green Day at http://www.teenchoiceawards.com/.
Green Day, which is singer-guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tre Cool, are preparing to launch their first proper tour of the United States and Canada in more than three years. The tour runs from July 3rd through August 25th. Please visit http://www.greenday.com/ for more details.

Black Eyed Peas ‘The E.N.D.’ Lands At #1 On The Billboard 200 Chart
Black Eyed Peas’ “The E.N.D.” bows at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 304,000 — the hip-pop act’s best sales week ever. It’s also the first No. 1 album for the group, which had previously gone as high as No. 2. Its last set, 2005’s “Monkey Business,” bowed in the runner-up slot with a then-best 291,000. It had the unfortunate luck to come out the same week as Coldplay’s “X&Y,” which kept the Peas’ at bay when it started at No. 1 with 737,000. -via Billboard.com

Kevin and his little brother Joe spent some one on one brotherly time together at the very popular restaurant The Apple Pan in West Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (March 21).
The brothers Jonas recently unveiled plans for a worldwide arena tour. With quite a few Canadian dates on their new theatre-in-the-round type stage setting. Kevin had this to say recently on a conference call promoting the Canadian leg of their tour:
“We’ve never embarked on an in-the-round tour in our lives and so to be able to go on tour and do it, it’s going to be amazing. I mean, we can’t wait.”
They will release their new album, tentatively titled Lines, Vines and Trying Times, on Monday, June 15.
Here is Ciara’s cover artwork for her “Love Sex Magic” song with Justin.

In other JT related news, Justin is expanding his brand to the tequila business according to a report by Page Six.
He recently toured a Mexican distillery where he was caught on video tasting tequilas.
A rep for Justin confirms,
“This was one of his many meetings over the last two years in development of his tequila business.”
He is one busy guy. He, sings, he dances, has his own clothing line, does regular guest appearances on SNL. Oh and his charity functions! The list goes on and on. Hopefully he goes all out with a dead worm in the bottom of every bottle, make it more authentic.
I can see it now… Timberquila! Ole!

Lindsay did some shopping at Indigo Seas yesterday in Los Angeles. She is pictured here wearing a “Nation Ltd. Dallas Ex Boyfriend T” as a dress.
I have to admit that she looks malnourished and emaciated. Her legs are like sticks and her bosom seems to have deflated considerably due to her recent weight loss.
Lily Allen and Lindsay have been talking about about possibly recording an album together according to a source at The Sun:
“They’ve discussed making a record together, possibly at a pre-arranged studio, while they’re away on holiday” .
The source went on to say:
“They have been getting on really well and they’re planning a summer escape, along with Lindsay’s girlfriend Samantha Ronson. They’ve discussed the Bahamas, and are also planning a trip to the Coachella Music Festival in April to see Amy Winehouse perform.”
I’d be surprised if they’re still friends by summer with the way Lindsay seems to bi**h fight with everyone she hangs with!

It seems JD Fortune Wasn’t Kicked Out Of INXS so says his manager.
JD competed against thousands of hopefuls on reality TV show Rock Star: INXS and eventually won the lead spot in the Australian rock band. He toured with them for 23 months and lived the life of a rock star.
He then developed a drug habit he says.
JD Fortune won the role to be their lead singer back in October 2005 after a long search after the suicide of Michael Hutchence. Fast forward to now… he’s homeless and jobless.
JD (aka Jason Dean Bennison) recently did an interview with ET Canada and said he was let go by INXS at a Hong Kong airport with little more than a handshake and a “Thank you very much”.
By his own admission he is a heavy cocaine user, which sadly is the same drug that was found in Michael Hutchence’s system after his death.
JD sadly told Canada’s Entertainment Tonight:
“I found myself really alone because I had travelled with these guys for 23 months”.
INXS’ creative director and global business strategist Chris Murphy has spoken out against JD’s accusation of being abandoned on behalf of the band who are confused by his allegations. He is even still named as a member of the band on the INXS website.
Murphy says:
“Not only are we shocked by the claims, even the place the supposed incident was to have taken place is a mystery to the band. What annoys me the most after viewing Fortune’s interview is the bloody slant he makes toward the founding band members. These guys are the nicest people on this planet; they are not the people he portrays.”
Although now, in an apparently self inflicted blow, it seems that JD really can consider himself fired now:
“The band has always stated to me that Fortune’s services could potentially be contracted again when INXS next tour. In fact he was next on my list to call regarding a very big recording project I am putting together for INXS at present” explained Murphy, “I guess I have no reason to call him now.”
JD’s also plugged his new solo album, which he’ll release on his Myspace page.
JD chose the last name ‘Fortune’ as his moniker, but sadly it seems he blew his fortune.

Taylor Swift is seen here posing in a silver strapless stone sequin minidress by Kaufman Franco at the 2009 Brit Awards at London’s Earls Court on Wednesday (February 18).
She finished off her look with gorgeous silver Christian Louboutin peep-toes, a sparkly Judith Leiber clutch and David Yurman silver hoops with pavé diamonds.
Taylor has again topped the Billboard albums chart this week. She has been in the U.K. these past few days doing promotional work and will be in Europe for a while longer.
She’ll be starting her world tour in North America this Spring.
Michael Jackson is being hit with yet another lawsuit.
Manu Dibango, a Cameroonian singer is suing for $643,000 in damages over an unlicensed sample.
Jackson already admits the sample from Dibango’s 1972 Soul Makossa was used in “Wanna Be Startin’ Something” off theThriller album and the artists had come to an agreement regarding that way back in the 1980s.
Fast forward to now… 20 years later, Rihanna acting in good faith received MJ’s permission to use the same sample in her song “Please Don’t Stop The Music,” without contacting Dibango.
Dibango’s attorneys have asked the French courts to block Sony BMG, EMI and Warner from any income from the records until the issue is settled mid-February.
I’m thinking RiRi may have to pay out to Dibango, unless the Jackson decision in the ‘80 eliminated his rights. At the end of the day, is a sample of a sample still just a sample?
Remember when Joe Jonas dumped Taylor Swift for Camilla Belle after they filmed the “Love Bug?” Well it seems like Selena Gomez has a few words of advice for her boyfriend, Nick Jonas, and his brothers. Guess she doesn’t want to be the victim of a public dumping someday so she offered them this little friendly tip:
“Just put boys in [your] videos for now on, how ’bout that?” She made that crack to E!’s Daily 10.
Selena who currently stars on Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place is currently working on her debut album, set to drop sometime this year.
She says:
“It’s a work in progress. Once I come out with my music, you’re going to see a whole different side of me. Different hair, different clothing, different attitude.”
Although changing her look and style might be a bad idea as she says:
“half the time kids don’t even know who I am” when parents spot her on the street.
“The mom’s just like ‘take a picture, take a picture,’” she says. “And the kid’s looking at the mom going, ‘I don’t want a picture of this girl!’”
