Sisters Beyonce and Solange Knowles looking stylish in sailor outfits strike a sexy pose in this new ad campaign for Japanese handbag designer Samantha Thavasa. I’m thinking Solange has nicer legs! Seriously though, I cannot get over how busy these girls are. When is enough enough?
The nautical-themed ads will appear in Samantha Thavasa’s 117 shops nationwide in Japan.
Paris Hilton was the previous spokesperson for the Thavasa brand.
When I look at this picture I can’t help but wonder who the stylist was that chose this sweater for her! It reminds me of a straight jacket. She tells the new issue of Glamour one of her resolutions for 2009:
“I would like to stop worrying so much, because I worry all the time. And to learn how to be happier, just in general. I have to learn to take things not so seriously. And to stop biting my nails!”
It will be nice when Britney gets to a place emotionally, mentally, and physically so that she can regain joint custody of her sons before she is made/forced to have her big career comeback. I’m not convinced she is ready for either just yet, but perhaps if she does move back to Louisiana and reconnects with her family and friends out there she’ll have less pressure and stress on her being in the public eye and eventually will be able to relax, stress less, and truly heal.
I thought it was so sad when I heard her say in the documentary that aired the other night that she used to be “cool”….now shes not “cool” and she wishes she could be “cool” again.”

Here is a photo from the new Gucci ads featuring Rihanna. She’s holding onto the “Tattoo Heart” bag, and 25% of proceeds from the sales will go to benefit UNICEF. I read somewhere that the bag retails for around 3 grand.
WWD is reporting that Gucci creative director Frida Giannini said:
“When we decided to dedicate a full ad campaign, more than just creating products, to really come out and show our commitment to UNICEF, I felt a musician and a beautiful woman was the perfect icon for this campaign.”
Gucci will be premiering a short film featuring Rihanna on November 19th.
Posh dresses in a posh sari for the magazines bridal issue which gives tips on “how to get your WOW wedding.”
Victoria told the November issue that hits newstands next week: “I’ve never played safe with my image. I feel like an Indian princess!”
Hmm, while I admit she looks lovely, her comment could be misconstrued. The cultural appropriation where she claims to feel like “an Indian princess” isn’t going to please some people. Also, some might think it offensive to dress up like it’s Halloween in another culture’s garments.

Dolly Parton’s new album is out on February 26th, and I LOVE the cover. Dolly looks just like Barbie, it almost creeps me out but then I look at it and it is just too cute. I love how her name is ‘Dolly’ and that she is portraying the most loved doll in the world. I guess they do have a lot of similarities, they are both extremely old (lol), they are both dolls and they are both blonde! What a coincidence! I am thinking that they photo-shopped Dolly’s head onto an actual barbie, because those arms just don’t look real!
I don’t know what it is about Jennifer Lopez but she always looks absolutely amazing. She always seems to have that perfect Jlo going on. This girl never looks rough, although we can’t say the same about her hubby Marc Anthony. I really need to take some lessons from her makeup artist, because she is just flawless, you expect to see this kind of perfection on magazine covers (not paparazzi shots) because those editors always photoshop the cr*p out of pictures.
I haven’t really posted about Kat Von D before, but I have to say for an inked up reality show superstar she is pretty hot. Her first claim to fame came when she joined the show Miami ink, her hard partying ways and random antics during the show gave her quite the following. Naturally she figured she would do better on her own, and went back to her hometown and opened up a tattoo shop along with a show called LA Ink. I do wonder though what she would look like under the heavy makeup she wears.
It infuriates me that celebrities get away with all this airbrushing! There is no way a young girls can remotely make themselves this good.
