Kristen Bell stays in shape with the help of her friends. The 30-year-old actress revealed her secret to Shape magazine.

“My friends and I are all into staying in shape through outdoor activities,” she said. “We play Ultimate Frisbee, hike the trails around Los Angeles, go rock climbing in Malibu, and explore underwater caves in Palos Verdes. We’re gluttons for excitement, and it keeps us fit.”

When the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star does decide on a gym workout she says she needs a little help from a friend to stay on track.

“When I’m by myself, I have no attention span,” she said. “I lose count of my reps, but with a partner, I stay engaged.”

Julia Roberts is due to be honoured at the upcoming San Sebastian International Film Festival.

The Eat Pray Love star, whose movie career spans more than two decades, is set to receive the Donostia Award in recognition of her contribution to Hollywood.

The 42-year-old actress will be presented with the prestigious gong at a lavish ceremony next month, The Express reports.

Sir Ian McKellen, Robert De Niro and Meryl Streep along with Roberts’s Pretty Woman co-star Richard Gere number amongst the award’s previous recipients.

Jane Lynch may now be one of the hottest stars in the hit TV show Glee, but 20 years ago she was trying to break into Hollywood.

Her agent reportedly used to tell casting agents that she would work ‘for a steak and a dollar.’

Lynch’s first big break came as she starred in a TV commercial for Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes.

Since then she has starred in a string of Hollywood hits, including ‘The 40 Year Old Virgin’ with Steve Carrell.

Lynch, 50, plays the role of cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester in Glee.

Reality star Stephanie Pratt used to pretend to be married to get into clubs as a teen.

Stephanie, 24, admitted on MTV’s When I Was 17 that she used to expertly talk her way into nightclubs.

The Hills star told MTV News: “When I was 17, all of my friends were 21 and going out to clubs on school nights, and I obviously wanted to go with them.

“So, I’d get to clubs, and I had such a baby face at 17, and (the bouncers would) be like, ‘There is no way you are 27′.”

Pratt added: “I had ‘borrowed’ my mum’s cocktail ring and I used to wear it on my wedding finger and say to the doorman, ‘You are just such an angel, I am actually married’!”

“And they’d be like, ‘Oh, well, in that case, come right in’.”

Twilight star Kristen Stewart is ’so scared’ of karaoke.

Kristen may make frequent appearances in front of millions on the big screen.

But the 20-year-old does not like to take to the stage to sing party classics because she finds it embarrassing.

According to British newspaper the Daily Star, she said: “I would never, ever do karaoke.

“I am so scared of it, each time I have ever given it a try I have had about two lines and I have ended up talking them.”

The Hollywood actress added: “It’s making me embarrassed just talking about it.”

Former OC star Mischa Barton is reportedly planning to leave LA and live in London with her new boyfriend.

The 24-year-old star has been dating DJ Ali Love for just a month but reports claim they are already planning to move in together in East London.

A friend said to Britain’s Heat magazine: “Mischa’s found a great new guy. She can’t wait to move to London to be with him. It’s already in the works.”

The pal added: “Instead of Hollywood gigs, Mischa’s focusing on a stage career in the West End. She wants to spend a year in London and see where things go with both the theatre and Ali. She’s so happy to be starting afresh. She’s so in love!”

British actress Emily Blunt has said she isn’t a fan of airbrushing as it makes people “look like Barbie”.

The 27 year-old, who married The Office star John Krasinski earlier this year, said she doesn’t enjoy being Photoshopped.

Speaking to Britain’s Elle magazine, she said: “I don’t like it when they stretch you out and make you all long and skinny. It makes you look like Barbie. Who the hell looks like that?”

Blunt also added that she isn’t a girly girl when it comes to dressing up for events.

She said: “I think I tend to dress quite hard. I’m definitely not a frilly girl and I don’t wear dresses that much.”

Bond girl Gemma Arterton has told how she had to pee in a bottle for a new movie.

The actress stars as a kidnap victim in thriller The Disappearance of Alice Creed.

And at one point in the film her character is ordered to go to the bathroom by her male captors.

Gemma, 24, said: “That was another awkward moment, but more for the guys than me.

“They didn’t know where to look; they thought I was uncomfortable. I just wanted to get on with it. You know, it was in the script, I knew it was coming.”

“Plus, I don’t really have a problem with being naked on film, as long as the scene calls for it.”

She told a US magazine: “I went on holiday afterwards and all I did was sleep. It took so much out of me but I’m glad I did it. I’m no longer just another Bond girl. That pleases me enormously.”

The film hit screens in the UK earlier this year. It is due for a US release in August 2010.

Model-actress Kelly Brook has hit back at critics who have slammed her Hollywood film debut.

The 30-year-old has been roundly criticised for appearing in a bikini in almost every scene of new movie Piranha 3-D.

But Brook said that she is happy not to wear much in the new horror flick because she knows her curvy shape won’t last.

According to UK newspaper the Daily Star, she said: “If people want to cast me in roles for my body or how I look, I’m just going to embrace that because that’s not going to be the case forever.

“It doesn’t make me any less important than anyone else in the movie just because I’m in a bikini.”

She added: “That’s just the role I play.

“It’s as much a part of the story as the piranhas and everything else.”

Stephanie Pratt said she knows nothing about her brother Spencer’s public spats with estranged wife Heidi as she lives in a ‘bubble’.

The 24-year-old isn’t on good terms with her brother Spencer, 26, and said she has heard nothing about his public slanging matches with his estranged wife Heidi, 23.

She said to In Touch: “I live in a bubble. I don’t have the internet in my house. I’m pretty oblivious to all of that, which I think is nice!”

Stephanie admitted that she hasn’t spoken to either Spencer or Heidi since September.

All three starred in MTV reality show The Hills, which ended earlier this month after six seasons.
