Penelope Cruz pranked by Nine co-stars at SAG Awards
Penelope Cruz was pranked by her Nine co-stars Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson and Marion Cotillard at the SAG Awards.
The sexy star was backstage when she was introduced as one of the nominees for Female Actor in a Supporting Role.
As the camera cut to her, pranksters Nicole, Kate and Marion stuck their arms out from behind a wall and began making funny signs behind her back.
Penelope quickly realised what they were up to, though, and jokingly wrestled their arms back behind the wall.
It was not clear who the culprits were until the girls all appeared on stage together to introduce their film as one of the nominees for Outstanding Cast of a Motion Picture.
Nicole was identifiable by her bracelets, while the long white sleeves on Kate’s dress gave her away.
Penelope and Nine both missed out in their respective categories at the ceremony, held in LA on Saturday night.
Precious star Mo’Nique won the Supporting Actress prize, while the Outstanding Cast award went to Inglourious Basterds.
