TV presenter Cat Deeley has confirmed reports that she is to host the UK version of So You Think You Can Dance.

Cat, 32, is currently the host of the US dancing show and she has confirmed that she will front the British version of the show.

Asked about the rumours of a UK show, she said to BBC Radio One: “It’s true. Basically what we’re doing is we’ve done the auditions for the US version already.

”And we’re due to go into the studio back in LA. So I’m now flying backwards and forwards between LA and here [UK].

”So we’re currently doing the London auditions over in Pineapple Studios in Langley Street right now. We’re going back there today [October 8] so we’re going to do auditions today, tomorrow and the day after.

”And then we’re doing auditions in Manchester on the 14th of October, Belfast on the 18th of October and Glasgow on the 20th of October.”

Cat moved to LA from the UK four years ago and she was also asked by radio host Chris Moyles if she has succumbed to the LA lifestyle and had plastic surgery.

She said: “No seriously I don’t have any of that done.”

Asked if she has had work done to her teeth, she said: “No I’m so proud of my teeth, these are all my own and I actually open beer bottles with them still.

”And my mum goes: ‘Not your teeth! Don’t do it to your teeth, you’ve got lovely teeth.”
