Star Trek star Simon Pegg said his wife had to leave a screening of their new film as their unborn baby was kicking too much.
Simon, 39, plays Scotty in the new sci-fi flick and attended the screening with his wife Maureen, who is seven months pregnant with their first child.
He said: “She came to see the film.”
He added to Scottish newspaper the Daily Record: “But she had to leave halfway through and wait in the foyer because it was so loud and the baby was kicking so much.”
He added: “She left just when I was about to deliver my best line.
“I said to her: ‘I can’t believe you care more about our baby than my iconic line!’”

The singer recently declared her undying hate for all WAGs, which are supposedly the spouses of pro soccer players, by lashing out a lot of nasty words about Victoria Beckham. Lily Allen said: “The Beckhams are sickening. Everyone knows Victoria is a monster. I’d rather shoot myself between the eyes than be a WAG.” I was never aware that Victoria Beckham was a monster… perhaps Lily Allen has had a few nightmares on the matter and she’s trying to reach out because of it. Or maybe she’s just a bit jealous… after all, whoever said anything about her becoming a WAG?
