New details have emerged about the Casey Aldridge car accident – revealing that the father of Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby was ejected from his truck.
Louisiana Police officers have said that there were five people riding in Casey’s F-250 truck and three of those were ejected during the crash, including Aldridge.
Police say that Casey was on the 606 highway in Louisiana, when he swerved off the road into a ditch.
Trying to rectify his mistake he attempted to turn the car back onto the pavement, which caused the vehicle to flip, ejecting three people from the car.
The two other passengers ejected refused medical treatment at the scene – but Aldridge was taken to the nearby Riverside Medical Center suffering “moderate injuries”.
The police say that they have no reason to suspect alcohol was involved, revealing it is four times more likely for people to die when they are ejected from their vehicle during a crash.
Aldridge was charged with careless operation of a motor vehicle following the car accident at around 1.30am Sunday in Louisiana.
He is currently under observation at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, with Jamie Lynn by his side.

Hollywood star Jason Segel has revealed he has no problem getting naked in his movie roles – because he has no shame!
The actor bared all in the comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall and is now getting big laughs in his latest film I Love You, Man.
And he admits he never gets embarrassed by things that other people would see as shameful.
He told People magazine: “Somehow I was born without a sense of shame.
“A lot of things that most normal people would be embarrassed to do, I have no problem doing whatsoever.
“This is why so many people have seen me naked, I guess!”
Segel also spoke about his reputation as a flirt, adding: “I just like people, if that makes any sense.
“If I meet a dude at a bar, I love just talking to the dude about his life or whatever.
“If you meet a girl and engage in that conversation, it’s just by nature flirting.
“If you are an interesting person and I meet you, you are likely to become a character in a script at some point!”

The son of former Hollywood hellraiser Charlie Sheen has finally been released from hospital.
Three weeks after his birth, tiny Max Sheen has gone home to join his parents Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller and twin brother Bob, a spokesman for the Two and a Half Men star confirms.
Two And A Half Men Sheen and Mueller welcomed the twins on March 14 and Bob was soon allowed home.
But Max, who was slightly underweight, was kept in the hospital for observation.
Sheen’s rep Stan Rosenfield told People.com that Max was released from the hospital several days ago.
Rosenfield added: “Premature babies are often underweight. Max made weight and went home.
“It’s frustrating to be a parent and not have your family home with you. This is the last week of Two and a Half Men, so Charlie will be able to spend some quality time with his kids.”
For his part, Sheen is already playing doting dad.
He said earlier this month: “The weight issue is very common among infants who were born before reaching full term.
“I know a lot of people are not fond of hospital food; I just didn’t realize that they started so young!”
Max and Bob are the first children together for Sheen, 43, and his wife, 31.
The actor also has daughters, Sam, four and Lola, three, with ex-wife Denise Richards and another, daughter 24-year-old Cassandra, from a previous relationship.

Jackass fans will get the chance to witness Steve-O’s struggle with drugs and alcohol in a no-holds-barred documentary.
In an MTV special titled Steve-O: Demise And Rise, viewers will get to see the 34-year-old documenting his life on tape, including his days at the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, which led to a job at a flea-market circus.
Steve-O says that he was a “cocaine-addicted clown” during those heady days, who performed “two shows on Friday, three shows on Saturday and three shows on Sunday, and typically I would do cocaine through all of it without sleeping”.
The unflinching documentary, which is set to air on May 3 in the US, features “extreme substance abuse, including the marathon nitrous oxide sessions, terrorising his next-door neighbour, his ill-fated attempt at being a gangsta-rapper and several infamous public displays of self-destructive behaviour,” according to a press release from the network.
In 2008, Steve-O, real-name Stephen Glover pleaded guilty to cocaine possession and checked into a mental institution to get well.
He famously made his name performing outrageous stunts on MTV show Jackass alongside his good pal Johnny Knoxville.

Rachel McAdams says she could turn her back on city life and live in the woods for a couple of years.
The actress made her revelation while reviewing the novel Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver.
She was inspired to make her comments after being invited to join the US Marie-Claire book club for the May edition of the magazine.
McAdams said: “I absolutely fell in love with this book.
“I don’t think I got out of bed for three days - I was just eating it up. My favorite storyline was the one between Deanna and Eddie Bondo.
“I found that totally hot. It was one of the hottest love stories I’ve ever read.”
Set in southern Appalachia Prodigal Summer follows the lives of Deanna, a 47-year-old park ranger and Eddie Bondo, a younger hunter.
McAdams, 30, loved the book’s sex scenes, saying: “There were so many great conversations in bed, and then cold-morning wake-ups, when he’s cooking for her, building the fire…
“I kind of fancy living in the woods for two years.
“Not by myself but I do have a side of me that would just love to be stuck in the woods and have to stick it out and be really resourceful.”
The Canadian went to explain why the rural life appeals to her.
Speaking about living on a farm, she said: “I would try it. I would give it a good shot for a little while. I grew up in a small town, with a small backyard and raspberry bushes.
“My parents had a garden, but it was very basic. I think one thing that kids who grow up on farms really have going for them is they have exposure to death and birth in a totally different way.
“I think it takes away a little bit of the mystery and a little bit of the fear, and I do wish I had that. And I wish I was able to grow my own food.”

The actress who is working together with her husband, Dean McDermott, on the Reality TV Show “Home sweet Hollywood” have apparently hit rock bottom regarding inspiration for the show. Dean McDermott put it very clearly: “We are looking for movie scripts.” Also, Tori Spelling added: “There’s probably a lot of writers out there in the audience, so if you have any ideas, we’re open.” I am puzzled… how come a reality show needs scripts? Where’s the reality in Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s show if they use scripts for it… especially scripts submitted by fans who undoubtedly have very vivid imaginations.
Although Jim Carrey is still to officially land the lead role in the upcoming movie Three Stooges but according to his girlfriend Jenny McCarthy the actor has been giving her a sneak peek of his routine as the comedian gobbles down deserts every day.
Jenny confirmed that Jim Carrey was still on the negotiations table for the movie casting where he is likely to be joined by Benicio Del Toro and Oscar winner Sean Penn. But that hasn’t stopped Jim Carrey from getting into shape for the character of Curly.
She says, “He’s definitely practicing the role of Curly… He’s basically enjoying his desserts… He’s going to gain 50 pounds to play Curly. He’s just having so much fun with it. I have no idea what it’s gonna be like when he hits near 300 (pounds) but, in his comedy, he works hard at it. I listen to him walking around doing Curly… People are gonna be blown away when they see him.”
I really don’t think that Three Stooges was a good movie ever and Jim Carrey shouldn’t be doing all of this before he’s got a firm grip over the movie role. The only thing pulling Jim Carrey into this is that he has the chance to act along side Sean Penn.

Drew Barrymore has opened up about her split from Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti and growing up in the public eye in a heartfelt interview.
The 34-year-old former child star was reportedly close to tears talking about both things while promoting her new movie Grey Gardens.
The HBO film is the true-life story of two eccentric relatives of the late Jacqueline Kennedy – a mother and daughter both called Edith Bouvier Beale.
In an interview with US Elle, Barrymore explains why she feels emotionally connected to her character.
“I realised I probably felt like Little Edie did,” she says.
“I felt she was really in pain inside. And I was starting to feel less optimistic in my life and it was exciting for me to have something to put it into.
“I was so mad at some of the things that have happened in my life and all I ever wanted to say was: ‘No, no, no I am fabulous, I am happy, I can take care of myself. Don’t worry about me. I am totally professional’.
“But you know, maybe everything is not f***ing OK all the time.
Then, speaking about her break up with Moretti, which happened around the time she started filming Grey Gardens, the actress says: “It’s hard to be with someone for five years and say: ‘This isn’t going to work’.
“But it was a time in my life where I finally just said: ‘I can’t live for anyone else anymore. I have to be on my own’.”
The 34-year-old actress has been making movies since she was a little girl, lighting up the screen at the age of seven in Steven Spielberg’s ET.
