Christina Aguilera has said that she hopes to release a new album next summer.
It’s just a few days away until the debut of her compilation album, ‘Keeps Getting Better: A Decade of Hits.” The date for the release is November 11th.
While her last album was inspired by the 20s, 30s and 40s eras, she hopes she has accomplished something completely different. She had this to say to Billboard.com :
“With this new album, I wanted to go in a completely opposite direction-a very futuristic, robotic sound and computer-sounding vocals.”
She went on to say that new things inspire her as she tends to get bored easily.
The Keeps Getting Better: A Decade of Hits disc will feature new, fresh versions of Genie In A Bottle and Beautiful, as well as some other new songs.
