Here’s a sweet picture of K-Fed picking up the boys after preschool. They dressed up as a couple of bumble bees. They look adorable, but I am not loving their haircuts. Why didn’t they ‘buzz’ their hair off for the occasion?!
I wonder what Britney thinks of how things have turned out for her with regards to K-Fed having custody while she only has access visitation? I remember when Kevin was out and about partying while she was pregnant, and before that, how he left his last girlfriend for Britney when she was pregnant with his child. Who would have thought that he would end up being the ‘responsible parent’ after all that drama!
Selena Gomez has started up her very own production company, July Moon Productions, Variety is reporting.
She’s just 16-years old! The Disney starlet will now be able to option articles, hire screenwriters and tie additional talent to packages that can then be offered to studios.
Selena has been tapped to create a Disney Channel original movie and she is stoked about it. She told MTV News:
“Yes! We actually want to shoot it here in New York. I think it would have to be that our secret is about to be exposed.”
A spokesperson for Disney had this to say:
“It will be part of the blockbuster Disney Channel Original Movie franchise, the same franchise that launched High School Musical and Camp Rock. While it’s only in development, the plan is to have the movie ready for the 2009 calendar year.”
Sounds exciting.
Gwen Stefani and hubby Gavin Rossdale are pictured here at the library with their two-month old baby, Zuma Nesta Rock. The baby looks like most babies the same age, cute and cuddly. What I do find rather interesting is the different fashion styles Gwen and Gavin have. She’s such a fashion diva, always looking so put together.
He on the other hand, not sure what look he’s going for here, but the wallet chain and “manly bracelets” really doesn’t do a damn thing for me… not that he is trying to please me… but I wonder if Gwen gets off on him dressing that way?
El DeBarge was sentenced today to two years in California State Prison in Lancaster resulting from his recent drug bust. The judge determined that his conduct earlier this month when he was allegedly found with crack cocaine violated the probation that he was on from a drug case back in 2007.
DeBarge was arrested in Grand Rapids, Mich., in 1996 and ordered to pay back child support for his daughter. Ten years before that, he pleaded no contest in Grand Rapids to a charge of creating a disturbance after a college student accused him of assaulting her.
Three of his brothers — Chico, Robert and Thomas — have also served jail time on cocaine-related convictions.
El DeBarge who was a pop star in the 80s was arrested again, this time for possession of a controlled substance. He had been arrested in L.A. earlier this month, and was jailed after police discovered two warrants for his arrest. Real name- Patrick Eldra DeBarge was hit with several charges last year, ranging from vandalism to drugs and domestic violence.
Patrick is being held without bail and is due back in court tomorrow.
El Debarge was the lead singer in the 80’s group DEBARGE. Some of their many hits were: Rhythm of the night, All this love, Secret Garden, Love Always, Time will reveal, You wear it well, I like it, Love Me In A Special Way. Brother James used to be married to Janet Jackson.
The Queen Of Soul Aretha Franklin performed her rendition of Mariah’s “Touch My Body” the other night at a concert in Washington, D.C. She put on quite the show and it was obviously done for fun. This isn’t the first time she’s performed it either! Take a listen, she really does have a fantastic voice.
She has joined Madonna and Alanis Morissette in ensuring that her fans break a sweat at her concerts - because of her gripping fear of air conditioning.
She left quite a few of her celebrity fans including Christie Brinkley and Rosie Perez in a sweat at her New York concert this past August. The New York Post reported that she turned up the heat despite it being a steaming summer because she was ‘prompted by fears the coolant would destroy her sultry voice.”
A source told the newspaper: “Even Aretha’s security was complaining about the heat in the car on the way to the concert.”
Alex Rodriguez, aka A-Rod, has been taking heat for his very close relationship with Madonna but he is ON FIRE in this brand new ad for Guitar Hero: World Tour.
In the clip, A-Rod is featured alongside some of the world’s most famous athletes — Kobe Bryant, Tony Hawk and Michael Phelps. They all pay tribute to the famous scene in Risky Business featuring Tom Cruise. Kobe rocks the mic, A-Rod and Phelps rip it up on guitar, and Tony Hawk slides in on a skateboard to play the drums.
The video was directed by Brett Ratner, who most recently directed the music videos for Miley Cyrus’s “7 Things” and Mariah Carey’s “Touch My Body”.
Guitar Hero: World Tour will be available stores this Sunday, October 26. The game features a redesigned guitar controller, drum kit with cymbals and a mic. Sweet!

Hmm, while I admit she looks lovely, her comment could be misconstrued. The cultural appropriation where she claims to feel like “an Indian princess” isn’t going to please some people. Also, some might think it offensive to dress up like it’s Halloween in another culture’s garments.

Rihanna shot scenes for her music video for her latest single, “Rehab“, with Justin Timberlake on Tuesday in Vasquez Rocks Park, outside of Los Angeles. (Timberlake and Timbaland wrote the song and also contributed backing vocals in the bridge.)
In one scene, JT rides on a motorcycle to meet Rihanna at her Airstream Trailer. He then takes a shower with pink water and gets cozy close with Rihanna on the hood of a classic car.
Other scenes include JT singing to Rihanna outside her trailer (strumming a guitar), playing a pinball machine and JT lying on a giant rocket while playing guitar.
This will be the tenth video that Anthony Mandler has directed for Rihanna.
Guy Ritchie is supposedly livid because Madonna was somehow informed of private details about their pending divorce negotiations
The Sun is reporting that Guy is saying that Madonna has been acting like the KGB and that he screamed at her:
“This is a divorce, not the Cold War.”
A friend said:
“Any hopes Guy had of their divorce being private and dignified are out the window.
The allegations he was a cruel and neglectful husband have torn him apart so much that he invited his father and sister to the house on the weekend for dinner.
They discussed the divorce and how Guy could stand his ground against Madonna and her PR machine.”
The friend went on to say that Guy was stunned to discover Madonna knew about the dinner and had been keeping tabs on him for days. The source said:
“When Guy found out he lost the plot. He said, ‘How can you set fire to our whole world? Why go to such lengths to destroy me?’
“But Guy knows it would be unusual if Madonna wasn’t monitoring his every move.
She’s a control freak and there’s so much at stake.”
Since The Sun revealed last week that they were divorcing, the situation between them became even more strained — with Madonna saying Guy “emotionally abandoned her”
She was in Toronto last night and told the audience: “I’m lonely and need company.”
I feel sorry for their children and how this negative press must be affecting them.
