MTV Networks International has released the 11 categories for this year’s 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards.
This year, MTV is inviting its audience to vote in 10 of the 11 categories, which includes 3 new awards: New Act, Best Act Ever and Europe’s Favourite. These new awards reflect MTV’s ongoing commitment to new and regional artists as well as ongoing support for established artists. The remaining award – Video Star - will be decided by MTV.
