Liam & Noel Gallagher were performing at the Virgin Festival this past Saturday night when a drunken idiot got up on stage somehow and tackled them.
Chaos ensued and after the fool was hauled off, the guys took a break and came back and finish their set.
This statement from the band’s website:
“Despite his injuries, Noel returned to the stage a few minutes later to complete the band’s set but was taken to hospital after the show to be examined for a suspected fractured rib and ligament damage. The assailant was detained in police custody and will be charged with assault. No decision has been made regarding Tuesday’s concert in London, Ontario.”
