The MTV VMAs will not be the same this year because Britney is not scheduled to perform. Brit’s manager, Larry Rudolph, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show today:

“Britney Spears will not be performing at the VMAs this year. I’m telling you officially and unequivocally.”

Ryan later said that she will be involved in the show somehow. Hmm, could it be possible that the crazy b*** is going to be the “surprise” performance that everyone is hoping will happen? I can’t wait to see how she tops that I forgot my steps, where am I? pathetic freak show she put on at last year’s VMA’s!

Think about it, if she does, it’ll be the most watched moment in TV history, maybe even surpass her kiss with Madonna.
