I wish this little relationship between Lindsay and Samantha would end. I can’t stand looking at Samantha Ronson’s hair any longer. She never does her roots, and it just irritates me. Sam if you want to be blonde, make sure you are prepared to deal with the roots! Now she even went for a haircut and neglected her roots. It makes me think that she can’t afford to just pay 8 dollars to box her hair one color. Oh and look at her shirt, it’s a bit dirty so I had to block it out.

Miley Vs Katy
Posted by Chica at 9:06 pm in ChitChat

Katy Perry joked in a recent interview that she was really hoping to kiss Miley at the upcoming Teen Choice Awards kinda like the whole Britney and Madonna thing. Miley didn’t want any of that and actually kind of insulted Katy when she was asked about it.

Miley said: “No thanks. She sang on my record. So I think she’s kind of getting back at me, because she was doing harmonies and backgrounds.”

What kind of comment is that? Katy was just kidding! Miley seems to be a bit of a b*tch these days. She is probably just bitter that Katy’s song is doing so well on the charts!

Prince Wears FlipFlops
Posted by Chica at 6:23 pm in Body Image, Fashion

Had to do a double take to truly take in and ‘get the look’ that Prince is going for. After checking out his ensemble I am sooo intrigued and fascinated at the attention to detail… platform flipflops, snow white hose, prisonesque striped shirt, black spandex petite size yoga pants, white Be Be Trench, and diva shades. What a fashionista!

In other Prince related news:

Fifty artists who recorded Prince covers in honor of His Purpleness’ 50th birthday this past June 7th have been hit with a lawsuit by him. His attorneys want all copies of the tribute to be destroyed. Shockadelica had reached No. 8 on Norway’s album charts and was well received by Norway’s critics.

It’s perfectly legal to record and sell cover songs of someone else’s material, just as long as one pays the compulsory licensing fee which is about 10 cents per song. To sell their five-disc set of 81 Prince cover songs, they would have to give back around $8 per unit sold to Prince, under a compulsory mechanical license.

5,000 of the box sets were distributed by Norway’s C+C Records plus digital versions, and they are saying that that no one made any money from the project. So…they didn’t think they owe Prince anything… except… maybe a free copy.

C+C Records owner and Prince fan Christer Falck got in touch with Prince’s people to try to send one to him, which is where the trouble started, this according to the Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet (re-reported in Daily Swarm).

If you want to check it out, last time I checked, all 81 songs could be previewed free on C+C Records’ website, and some are also available on MySpace in streamable medley form.

Wino Heads To The Hospital

Wino had a minor set back today… she was sent to the hospital! She left the seen with an oxygen tank hooked up. Mitch Winehouse was there to see his cracked out daughter get taken away. I feel so sorry for this man as he probably is on the verge of a breakdown. He was already hospitalized once for his stress, I can see this happening again very soon.

Shia Is A Dumb Ass
Posted by Chica at 7:09 pm in Celebs, ChitChat, It Girls, News

Shia LaBeouf got into a fender bender this weekend. He was arrested and given a DUI. How stupid can this kid really be? He has enough money to afford a cab, why drive? I am so fed up of celebrities that get caught drinking. I think if you get caught once, you should lose your license for good. I think we need to start putting the hammer down on stars, as they are role models and should be punished harder.

“Attorneys for Mr. LaBeouf confirm that an automobile accident involving an additional party occurred early morning in Los Angeles on July 27, 2008. Shia is currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of Transformers 2 within one month. No further comment will be issued at this time.”

The Game Disses Em
Posted by Chica at 6:53 pm in 50 Cent, Album, Message, Music

THE GAME has stepped on EMINEM in a new track leaked online. This seems to be a thinly veiled announcement that their friendship is over.
The single, from his forthcoming L.A.X. album, is a collaboration with Lil Wayne.

The Game raps: “All the pictures of me and Em, I burned them / So there ain’t no proof I walked through 8 Mile.”
The two rappers were closerthanthis back in 2005, they did a duet on the track We Ain’t, from The Game’s debut album The Documentary.

I had to go look it up as I remembered him defending Em’s rep as a rapper awhile back to Rolling Stone… here it is:

“Everybody thinks it’s so bizarre because a white kid has never been at the top of hip-hop’s food chain. Eminem’s a talented motherf**ker, and nobody can f**k with the white dude.”

I wonder what caused this beef between them? Then again, he also has ongoing drama with 50 Cent who is one of Em’s proteges.

Within four hours of the announcement that his controversial, politically charged ninth album was number one in the country, Nas was standing on a small podium in front of Fox News headquarters in New York City protesting what he views as racist attacks against Black Americans and presidential candidate Barack Obama.
In a brief prepared statement, Nas said this:

“Fox poisons this country every time they air racist propaganda and try to call it news. This should outrage every American that Fox uses hateful language to talk about the person that may be the first black president.”

Nas gave examples of what he and ColorOfChange see as a long racist smear campaign against the Obama family and they were as follows:
–The onscreen graphic that referred to Michelle Obama as the Senator’s “baby mama”
– Bill O’Reilly sarcastically using the phrase “lynching party” to refer to attacks on the Senator’s wife — Referencing on how Obama and his wife’s fist thump each other by commenting it to be a “terrorist fist jab.”

He stood beside 19 neatly stacked cardboard boxes, with the number 620,127 taped to the side of each one — indicating that over 600,000 signatures gathered by ColorOfChange are demanding that network president Roger Ailes “find a solution to address racial stereotyping and hate-mongering before it hits the airwaves.”

Fox rejected the petitions, but Brave New Films says that Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report will accept them instead.

ColorOfChange contacted Nas after seeing the lyrics to “Sly Fox” posted on the Brave New Films website. “We looked at it and said, ‘This is exactly what we’re talking about,’” ColorOfChange deputy director Andre Banks told Rolling Stone. Just two weeks later, Nas was here speaking to fans, protesters and press spilling out into 6th Avenue, some even holding homemade signs markered with lyrics from the song.
When asked what his response to “Sly Fox,” was Nas said: “Nah, they’re scared of me.”

Here is a picture of Fergie and her fiancé Josh Duhamel taken at St. Andrew’s Church in Pasadena, California last Saturday. They were attending the wedding of Black Eyed Peas’sTaboo to Jaymie Dizon.

Taboo, whose real name is Jaime Luis Gómez, had his Black Eyed Peas band mates will.i.am and Apl de ap as his groomsmen and Taboo’s manager Polo Molina was best man.

The newlyweds are both wearing diamond and platinum bands, according to PEOPLE.

I wish them a long and happy marriage. Hmmm, I wonder when Josh and Fergie are going to make it official and tie the knot? They’ve been engaged for awhile now, wonder if the romance of the day will inspire them?!
